The 1932 election was the Republican President Herbert Hoover against the Democrat candidate Franklin Roosevelt. While Roosevelt was loved and supported all over the country, Herbert Hoover was extremely unpopular, due to not doing much to help the Great Depression. As Election Day approached, it grew more and more obvious who would win the election.
