Oh boy. I've been saving The King of Limbs for last, both because it's the most recent album, and because... it's my favorite. Yep, I'm the weird guy out who has this one at the top. Kid A and OK Computer both give it HEAVY competition at some points, but at the moment it stays on top. I think it's partially because of how the music helped me through a rough time, and I have a sentimental connection to it as a result. My only gripe is that it's too ...
Hey Neon Trees was the first station I added to my Pandora back in 2010 (I think, maybe 2011, can't remember). This is basically a throwback to that. I still like this song, maybe because of nostalgia or something.
This song's got pretty depressing subject matter. It's got a cool sound though. Barely was able to post today.
Although Death Cab for Cutie definitely seems like the more famous band, I only got into them after first becoming interested in the Postal Service, which shares Ben Gibbard as a lead singer. I do still prefer Postal Service, but DCFC definitely has some good songs as well. I love the guitar sound displayed throughout a majority of their songs. You can tell it's the same general sound, but it works in so many different ways that it's still cool.
