This is a song I first heard covered by Foster the People. I liked the cover version a lot, and it inspired me to check out the original version, which I liked even more. Unfortunately, I found that this song is very uncharacteristic of the Strokes - not that I dislike their regular sound, but I was hoping for more songs along this line. Here's a band Pandora introduced me to. I guess it's something of a supergroup as it's the lead singer of The Shins and the producer Danger Mouse (produces for Gorillaz, also known for stuff like Gnarls Barkley and some album mash-up stuff). I prefer this band's music to any of the two's other things, though (excepting Gorillaz).
