These are just some words for our passed on friend Robin Williams

On August 11th, 2014, the world lost a family member, by the names of Robin Williams. We lost our favorite genie, therapist, nanny, English teacher, and so many other roles that by saying them is limiting his true role: the greatest family man we've ever known.

Ever since most of us were children, Williams gave us laughs, hopes, and happiness in many of roles. He was never one to disappoint the audience or the people who were watching at home. Even if we only heard his voice, he put on a wide variety of voices, emotions, and ways to make us laugh.

I must admit that I rarely watched his films, the most memorable one being Aladdin. But now I wish I knew about him more. I thought "Oh, Williams is just another comedy actor, making people laugh" (before his death), but now that I know that he didn't just make people laugh, he made people happy. He wasn't "just another comedy actor". He was a memory maker who brought happiness and laughs to just about everyone we know of. He was a family member to all of us. One that we didn't see very often, but when we did we had laughs and memories and fun.

We all mourn for our favorite genie. May his body, mind, and soul rest in peace.
