Don't be going around spreading stereotypes, guys. They have an actual effect on people. A test was done with two groups of African-American/Black people. Each group had to do a writing test. Basically you had to fill in the spots in the words where acceptable letters could be found. For example, in "S__P" You could put letters to spell "Ship" and "soap" to just name two. One group was reminded of their race, having to fill out a form asking what race they were. The group that filled out the form (reminded of their race) had a longer time filling in the blanks than the group that was not reminded. This was a test to study the "African-American people can't read/write" stereotype.

Other tests like this have been done. With stereotypes such as "White men can't jump" and "Asian people are good at math". They have an actual psychological effect guys. Please don't be spreading them.
