Some help with English

This isn't some condescending message about poor grammar or spelling (although they should be fixed at sometime in the future). This is just something I think that's cool about English. A tip for knowing the origin of words: if it's fancy or food, it's French in origin. If it's average and animal, it's German or Old English. Let me provide some examples:
Beverage, pork, mutton, and beef are French in origin (just ask Clemi). The food stuff is because the French after the invasion of 1066 of William the Conquerer was in high society. Meet was considered a luxury food in the past, something very expensive and for the nobles and kings. So the French speakers in England didn't see the animals, only the food. Thus English is one of the only languages that has different words for the animal and for the food that we eat. In contrast, words like cow, sheep, and pig might come from German words Kuh (k-ueh), Schaf (sh-off), and Schwein (sh-vine) respectively.
It extends beyond good even. Words like justice, council, tribunal, and other fancy sounding words come from French (again, just ask Clemi. He wouldn't mind your endless questions about similarities between English and French)
Wanna know why France became even a thing on an island off of its northern coast? Well... let's see if everyone wants to read it before I make it. Thanks for reading!
