Okay so uh, I actually discovered this band because their lead singer was a guest on Macklemore's Downtown. My father is absolutely obsessed with that song, and it kinda rubbed off on me. Definitely interested me enough to get me to check out the dude's band. And man, I really like what I'm hearing so far. They're a little bit like Queen (although, y'know, not to the level of Queen) but they are good for what they are. This guy has one of the most interesting voices I've heard from a modern singer, and the sheer energy put into these songs is great.

Best I can tell, the song is about a father encouraging his son to push on in the face of dire circumstances - quite interesting. You know, I might actually name my kid Julian someday!

Not because of this song, because of Hey Jude. But y'know, this song is a bonus.
