Interesting piece of trivia: This song is one of two Radiohead songs featured in the Rock Band video game series, the other being Creep. Considering this song is about the band's hatred of Creep, I always thought that was funny.

This is a really cool song instrumentally. I love the weird freakouts where Thom is just rambling. The lyrics are of course interesting. I always thought the true strength of The Bends was in its lyricism (I still think it's got the best lyrics of any Radiohead album) and that shows here.

This is probably the hardest ranking for me to do, just because I think, with a few exceptions, most of the songs are at comparable quality. I think this album for me ranks pretty closely with Amnesiac; Amnesiac has higher highs and lower lows, whereas The Bends is more consistent in quality throughout.

    Really, ranking this one can go in a lot of different orders for me because of how consistent this album is. Right now my rankings would beeeeee

    For whatever reason, this album isn't as "memorable" as a lot of other Radiohead albums for me. It might be because aside from Planet Telex the album is mostly pretty similar sounding. I still like it more than Pablo Honey and Hail to the Thief tho

    Perhaps less memorable, but still in my top half of albums regardless. Honestly my list isn't that different from Poles but yeh
