Time for a curve ball :3

Why the hell am I even listening to this album? Well, my mom had the CD lying around and I was like "wynaut." And that's pretty much the story. This is a pretty significant departure from what I normally listen to, and I don't see myself becoming a huge soul fan any time soon, but it's still pretty good. Actually this is just a good album in general. Even with the songs I couldn't give less of a shit about lyric wise such as "Jesus Children of America" (gee I wonder why) it's still a pretty fun listen. However, some of his songs have lyrics that I feel are worth paying attention to, like this song for example.

You know, it's kind of sad. This song was released in the fucking 70s, but even if he released it now the lyrics would still be completely relevant. Hurray for progress. Fuck yeah 'Murica! See, there's your goal America, make this song outdated, I dare you! But yeah, I quite like the lyrics here, not to mention that it's just fun to listen to. Perhaps some people might find it a bit too long, but at this point the length of the song doesn't really bother me. I mean, it would probably need a bit more variation in the music if it wanted to drag on as long as Impossible Soul or some shit like that, but yeah.

I love long songs, to be honest. A lot of people think they drag on for too long, but if they're interesting enough, they tend to be my favorite songs (see: Impossible Soul, another contender for one of my favorite songs ever).

I never have listened to Stevie Wonder before. This song is really good. Actually, it's REALLY good. How would you say this song stacks up against the rest of the album? It's making a strong case for the album right now.

It's one of the better songs on the album, PERHAPS my favorite, but most of the rest are comparable in quality, so I'd say it's worth checking out :3
