Hey, do you know that band that made Chasing Cars? Well, they also made this

"I don't want to hurt her feelings, but she's a crazy fucked up bitch!" How romantic right? Yep. I don't even know why I like this song so much, it's certainly enjoyable but if I wanted to be objective it's not that special. I guess I find it kind of funny, but shrug. It just feels weird knowing that fucking Snow Patrol made this. Their debut album has a surprising garage rock band feel to it, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. I actually enjoy the album, probably more than I would their later stuff. This song is just the best example to contrast with their later stuff like Chasing Cars and umm... honestly I haven't listened to much else beyond that (mind you, I like Chasing Cars to some extent). Like, Chasing Cars is a somewhat sappy love song with a deep passion to it and relatively inoffensive music. And then here we get... this. It's like the POLAR opposite huehuehuehuehuehuehuehuehue. But really, I have absolutely no idea what the fuck that title is about, it doesn't really connect to the song at all.

Also, I like polar bears :3

Okay, let's try this... I'm gonna type my live reaction to this song as I listen to it.

Okay. This is the same band that did Chasing Cars? Wow. I mean, I know about how much bands can change sound over time (being a Radiohead fan and all) but wow. I think the song would be helped a little by being faster tempo but that's just me liking up tempo songs I guess.

Vocals are here now... Are... are you sure this isn't just another band also named Snow Patrol? I mean, I can KINDA hear the similarities, but uh... wow. Also the only lyrics I understood my first go around were the last two lines :P

I... okay. Yeah. All right. I did like this song. Not something I'd necessarily listen to a lot but I wouldn't mind it at all as background music ya feel. Chasing Cars is weird. It'll always have a special place in my heart because I cried myself to sleep listening to it once. I never listen to it anymore because I don't think it's very good but it'll still always have a special place in my heart.

Honestly I kind of enjoy Chasing Cars more than I think I objectively should. Certainly not great but it can still capture you in the general mood of the song rather well.
