Mike Hat

I think I've mentioned it in Log's blog before, but I really really enjoy Bjork's voice. Probably one of my favorite female vocalists, I definitely haven't listened to near enough of her stuff. Anyway I've always had a thing for nice long songs (there's a reason Impossible Soul is my favorite Sufjan Stevens song) and Hyperballad certainly fits into that category. The space-y music in the background combined with the raw edge of the vocals really make something interesting in this song, I feel. I'm a particular fan of the lyrics as well. I mean, some of these lyrics are just... wow. Wow. Yeah, I like this song. Should probably go dust off my album review thread so I can give Homogenic a proper listen...
