Why I Personally Don't Like Politics

Rate this Entry
This might as well be part two of my unpopular opinions. Anyway, before I say this, I don't mean in any way to hurt the feelings of those who love politics, are politicians, or are in some way related to politics. With that said, I'll explain why I don't like politics.

I feel that (American) politics allows people who don't know what they're talking about, or allows liars. Let's take the Democratic and Republican party. They generally have opposite views. Both sides claim to be the "American saving" and "correct side". However we know this cannot be true. Both sides cannot be the "American saving" ideal if they're practically opposites of each other. It's like saying 2+2=3, or 2+2=5. I'm fine with policies and ways of dealing with the country and law, but when a system allows liars, people who don't know what they're talking about, or other people who are unfit to run a nation rationally, there's a problem. Whenever something tragic happens, each party blames the other and nothing's done.

I've concluded that one of the many conclusions are true about (American) politics. One side is lying, one side doesn't have its facts straight, or both sides are lying or don't have the facts straight.

I feel change to this system would be most wise, as with this stalemate nothing is happening. The system is slow, and the system isn't as efficient as it can be.

Thanks for reading, and as always, don't forget to be awesome.

Well, I don't think being the "right" or "America saving" party isn't exclusive to any oen party.

It comes down to how you apply any ideals, and there are, in theory more than one combinations of ideals that could "save" America.

If you look at it like a game, to ease the analogy for myself, the preset classes/loadouts are okay, but the real "good" class for you A country, if you will.) comes down to your situation, and what fits you, the country, good, I.E. a custom class.

Basically, screw the all or nothing that is representative democracy and the party system in general.

Getting rid of the republic (representative democracy) would be very difficult considering that 1. the USA is supposed to be some form of democracy or basically anything where people get the vote, be it republic or democracy or whatever, and 2. I want to keep my vote, because it means people have the power (more or less) and get to decide their own fate. Not to mention: how're you gonna get all about 350,000,000 people to vote directly?

Yeah it would be pretty difficult, but all or nothing is a terrible thing to have to settle for.

Socio-Anarchism would be splendid...if it worked.
