    One of the things that's notable about Spiritomb is that his ghost/dark typing gave him no weaknesses, except to the fairy type which was announced this gen. By making him ghost and rock, you are technically making him weaker by giving him a weakness to water, grass and ground.

    Please, how will this make his mega worthwhile?

    Give him a good ability (I suck at knowing abilities which is why I didn't put them in these lists) and boom.
    But with it being the new gen, casual players will ALWAYS want to use the new type, which won't be strong on the mega.

    Also, I don't see what the big deal is, since he'd only be Ghost/Rock in mega.

    The point of a mega evolution is to make the previous evolution stronger, not weaker.
