Likes System Add On

So let me get this straight.

You want me to add in a feature that allows us to share our posts/threads via, Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ which people could already potentially do without the help of the forum so that I can allow backdoors to the software? I'm not limiting the forum here, this is clearly an unnecessary add-on that can be done with just copy and pasting the link you want onto the social media you want.

Or your security is just sloppy and your too damn stubborn to realize there are other ways to do things and its actually a viable suggestion.

But what do I know I've only helped run bigger sites than this one on similar software without getting hacked with add on's. So yeah just continue doing what your doing forget about improved functionality.

I wouldn't ever even see a use for that particular piece of software.

Anyways, Reptar, Dion and Rob know what they're doing, believe it or not.

Because add on's like the likes system are actually GOOD ideas...in fact GREAT ideas. With tons of support. It works way better than the rep system and doesn't provide the option for negative feedback which honestly could cause problems.

But its not even going to get a second look because Dion said so and you all act as if thats all that matters. Just because Dion says something doesn't make it true.

Okay whatever don't do the share add on (which actually DOES improve functionality) I get that. I Don't think its pointless but I get it. But what's the point in even having suggestions when Dion rejects half of them flat out without even hearing it out. I'd say a majority of the forum likes the Like add on idea, so I provided a link...but no because of this supposed "threat" yeah...plenty of sites have add ons and don't get hacked.

If you really think adding it is a good idea, go to Donkidong.com and use the social networking features and share the stuff with your friends on facebook and twitter. That would prove it to us.

I agree. No offense Dion but you do in fact reject a lot of ideas without reasoning. And in doing that doesn't that kinda make you a bad Admin?
