Groups?

You know, things haven't been as active as they once were. We know this.

You know, people seem a lot less happier than they once were. We know this.

You know, groups were a fun way to make close friends on the forum. We know this.

You get my point.

I'd like to hear everyone else's opinions on groups being reinstated. It won't be the same as before obviously, but I feel that everyone here is much more mature, we have many new responsible members and mods, and a lot more creativity can be used to make a brand new group experience.

I guess when you get down to it, I'd like a way that we can feel like a forum again. It's become kind of an inactive place, not just because we're in the break, it was like this during the storms. Maybe this way, we can have kind of a nostalgic feel for the old members, and have a new way to get closer to newbies?

It's alright if there are some good reasons not to have groups back. I can't think of any bad reasons. I just really wouldn't like to hear, "don't change anything it's fine." Not saying anyone will do that though.

I wholeheartedly agree. groups were my favourite thing here.

I would however like to point out that although groups would be fun to have back, the last thing I want is for people to only get on for the groups. I think posting in topics all over, plus groups, plus chat, could be even among everyone.

I remember when my group was going to merge with S.T.A.R.S and then it was going to be a supergroup with almost every group on board.

I never liked the faction mentality that groups brought about, as both a member and group leader. It's a nice way to really get to know a few people, but at the expense of some degree of hostility towards everyone else.

People are unhappy cause I wasn't as active lately.
