Recommend Music
I'm a musician, and I think one of the most powerful ways (if not THE most powerful way) of interaction is music. I think the simple task of sharing a song you like with a friend is a really amazing thing. So that's what this thread will be for. You can keep checking back here for new songs and look under the genres you enjoy (or, if you're feeling adventurous, ones you don't even listen to) for songs that your fellow forumers recommended to you!
I'll start it off by recommending the song "Cities On Flame With Rock and Roll" by Blue Öyster Cult, which is a rock song.

I love the Genre Distinction JacobSZ :)
It's the one iTunes uses and the exact one I prefer to use.
I've been listening to a lot of Dance today, and I would recommend "Prayer in C" as the favorite new song I heard today.
-
should I go off of what iTunes says about the genres of stuff I could recommend? Because a lot of the stuff I own that it puts under the "Pop" category is the absolute farthest thing from it by today's standard :P
Either way, I'll add a little to the list
"There, There" by Radiohead (Alternative)
"Apocalypse Dreams" by Tame Impala (Alternative)
"The Boxer" by Simon & Garfunkel ("Pop" but... yeah no.)
"Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing" by Stevie Wonder (not really sure where I'd put this)

Doncamatic isn't a bad song, but it's one of the Gorillaz weakest songs, and doesn't really fit their style. They're a more alternate hip-hop, trip-hop thing. I recommend the Plastic Beach album highly. Also for rrrgular/hardcore rap, I really like OFWGKTA, Tyler the Creator specifically. Goblin is a really raunchy album, but that and some of their singles like Sandwitches and Rella are just fun, weird songs to listen to.
