I tried keeping it before, but the main reason I got rid of it was because I couldn't get the log-ins combined, and a lot of people were confused because they would sign up for an account on the homepage, then couldn't log into the forum with that account, they had to make a new account. I tried hiring a programmer, but he couldn't get it done either.
So eventually I gave up on it, since NP and EL were coming out with their official voting site anyway.
However, I am working on a homepage. It'll use the forum's layout, have the forum login and everything. It'll have some featured posts (winner of fm erboh contest's battle, I can have speculation and news too), a chat box (hopefully), and a calender with upcoming events and contests and things.
If anyone has some design ideas, or other ideas for things to put on the page, please let me know!
Are you still doing that Rapping Book idea?

The question is, how do we determine which speculations go into the speculation topic?
Should I just put everyone's ideas that are reasonable?
I'm thinking, instead of a whole section, I will just make a sticky topic and 'close' it so no one can post in it.
One will be ERBoH hints and one will be ERBoH Speculation or something along those lines.
And I'll post the 'summary' of what 'most' people think are 'reasonable' speculations and hints.
I can also make it so the most recent posts in topics show up on other pages... so when I finally finish the homepage, I can put the latest post from the speculation topic and the latest posts from the hints topic onto the main page and they will update automatically.

Over the next week I have to design/code a website for a school project, write a 20 page paper, and study for 3 tests. So I'll be very busy. But after next week, I'm pretty much done school. So I'll be able to get this done, and I'll be able to finish the other things I've been saying I will get done for while!
I promise after I finish up the semester (early May), I will spend 10 hours a day working on the site until I finish:
- Appointing moderators for sections[/*:m:5ht1cfry]
- Creating the new hints + speculation topics[/*:m:5ht1cfry]
- Splitting the 'off topic' section into random offtopic and logical offtopic[/*:m:5ht1cfry]
- Creating a homepage with hints+speculation+FM ERBoH's+chat box on it[/*:m:5ht1cfry]
- Creating a voting system so you can vote for banners you want to see more often or less often[/*:m:5ht1cfry]
- Creating pages with the lyrics for each battle on them + the video + link to iTunes[/*:m:5ht1cfry]
- Redesign donkidong.com so that you can rate, sort by rating or newest, and comment on each meme[/*:m:5ht1cfry]
