Saysky : Hello, I am Max "Say" Sky and welcome back to Mystery or Truth : Documentaries, You might have seen our documentary about Bigfoot, Aliens, John Kramer, and many other mysteries around the world. This week we'll be focusing on the mysterious "The Erboh : Asylum", This series would be split into many stories and I'll see you soon, Once again, I am Max "Say" Sky and I hope you enjoy our new Series.

The Erboh : Asylum
A Quick History Lesson.

Saysky : The Erboh Asylum began as a small institution, It was built in 1989. The original structure was supposedly built a top of an abandoned graveyard, there is one story that is sure to give you the creeps : There was a patient who had been strapped down for so long that his skin had begun to grow over his restraints. There were some articles that told that they were "abusing" their patients, People claimed that patients were punched and locked in a storeroom. One claimed that nurses poured alcohol onto the dressing gown of a patient and set it on fire.

There were nine (9) special cases and that's what we're going to talk about later in the series but for now let's look at their staff.

Name : Dr. Samuel Bama
Nickname : Sam
Age : 54
Date of Birth : 2/14/1960
Born in : Austin, Texas
Lives in : Austin, Texas

Dr. Samuel worked at the Asylum as soon as it opened, He became famous due to "curing" and successfully rehabilitated a patient with a severe case of Schizophrenia. His methods were deemed as taboo but he claims that the risks were worth it and that his methods always work.

He denied all the allegations of his workers abusing the patients, he made sure they were eating, bathing, sleeping, and functioning right. News articles said that the longest patient they ever had was kept for only a year, doctors everywhere looked up to him and his methods but Dr. Samuel was secretive and did not share any of it.

He was one of the people who went missing after the 9 Cases that shut down the Asylum.

We couldn't find a picture of him, We suspect that it got lost with him during the cases.

Name : Tom Meme
Nickname : Wumbo
Age : 24
Date of Birth : 10/3/1965
Born in : Las Vegas, Nevada
Lives in : Las Vegas, Nevada

Tom was the lead security in the Asylum, he had roamed the place every night and had a few close calls with low-time burglars. Dr. Sam trusted Tom very much and was pretty comfortable in the Asylum.

A quote in a journal was found inside one of the offices, "I would entrust my life to Tom, he's the best around." - Dr. Sam.

We couldn't find a picture of him too.

Name : Mancha I. Lluminati
Nickname : Mench
Age : 25
Date of Birth : 3/3/1964
Born in : New York, New York
Lives in : New York, New York

Mancha was the assistant of Dr. Sam, he looked up to the Doctor and followed his every step and he even said that if it wasn't for the doctor he wouldn't have stayed long in the asylum because he thought it was "Creepy" and would of had left after his first pay check but he never saw someone so dedicated to working in an asylum as the Doctor.

He disappeared at the same time as Tom, tune in to Case #4 to find out why and how they disappeared.

Saysky : Hello and welcome back to Mystery or Truth : Documentaries, today we'll continue with our topic about the Erboh : Asylum and now let's get to it.

We stopped after reading the files of three of the staff members of the asylum and I am going to continue with these files.


Case File :

Again, We have no picture of most of the staff.

Name : Hanako Ikezawa
Nickname : Hana
Age : 21

The rest of her files were missing and thus we could not get any other info about her but from what we know she was a nurse, she supposedly banished during the 4th case.

Name : Billy McFly


The rest of his files were burnt but the surviving files confirmed Billy was a doctor at the asylum and he was the doctor entrusted to handle the 6th case. There is also few pages that were burnt and some sentences were cut off but it gave us enough information that he was handling a pyromaniac before he disappeared.

Name : Thomas Lancaster
Nickname : Ranger
Age : 46

He was apparently a regular visitor to the asylum, he had no mental issues or any illnesses. He did not have any relatives according to the only files that we have been given, he was reported to always visit the asylum during the 4th case, he stopped visiting or disappeared during or after the 7th case.

His business with the Asylum could raise some eyebrows, there were some allegations regarding about him buying off some patients to put them in a fist fight against each other but no reports of it coming to a conclusion was seen.

Name : Jack Cossack

Not much was found about Jack but all we know he was the driver for the van, he gets ordered to grab patients that get out and sometimes families call the Asylum to put a mentally ill family member in, he disappeared along with Thomas Lancaster on the 7th case.

Unfortunately that's all the files we have got, before we start talking about the cases, I will let you watch a few recordings of the interview on Doctor Sam before the cases started, let's roll the tapes.


Interviewer : Good evening doctor, thank you for agreeing to be interviewed.

Dr. Sam : Ohoh, It was nothing dear.

Interviewer : So let's just start things off so you can go back to your work, first question, is it true that your employees abuse the patients?

Dr. Sam : No no no, that's just some rumours started off by Sunshine Newspapers, you know how they hate my asylum because I don't let them interview me, I don't let my patients be handled badly. I tell my staff that we should treat the patients as family, you know?

Interviewer : Okay then! Let's move on to the next question, Is it true that you are getting money to support the asylum from Sir Thomas Lancaster by selling your patients?

Dr. Sam : That is not true at all! Me and Thomas have been close since I've started working at the asylum, we're just good friends and he often visits me and checks out the patients and the facilities.

Interviewer : Oh isn't that good to hear! Let's move on then, some people often associate the asylum as a "slaughter house" for mentally ill patients and you were just paying the families of the patients money to keep quiet? there has been a few reports that some of the patients did not return home even after getting the green light.

Dr. Sam : Oh no that's not true at all, people are constantly trying to bring me down because of how successful my methods work that they feel the need to try and shut me down, I say this with honesty that i do not abuse, torture, abandon or kill my patients and they are all under my care.

Interviewer : You heard him folks! Now for the last question, is it true that there are 9 patients that apparently have "supernatural" powers and that you are keeping them heavily guarded and that you are afraid to tell the public because you're scared your reputation will crumble and your asylum would be closed?

Dr. Sam : No no, there are no special patients in my asylum, everyone is mentally ill and not one of them have any unique powers or any of that kind, do not be fooled by random humours that are being spread about my asylum!

Interviewer : Okay one final follow up question if you will, There has been some reports about one of your asylum windows glowing at night and that it's eerie to look at let alone stare at it for long, people have been saying that it might be the cause of a "cult" inside your asylum?

Dr. Sam : Of course n-

Saysky : Hello and welcome back to Mystery or Truth : Documentaries, today we'll continue with our topic about the Erboh : Asylum and now let's get to it, last episode we finished reading all the files of the employees and other important people of the asylum.

Let's start of with the case #1 which was simply titled on the document as "Play with them."

It was your typical day at the asylum, nurses were checking the patients, doctors were observing special patients and such. It was 6 o'clock when the Asylum van arrived and Jack went inside the Asylum with another patient carrying two children, one at the age of 9 and the other was 12. It was stated that the children's parents called the asylum and told them that the kids were "unstable" and should be fixed.

Fortunately, the files of the two children are complete except for the photos.

This case was handled by Doctor Bruno Oikar, he was a specialist when it comes to kid with mental issues so he was called up specifically for this case. Here are the stories of the two children that was brought in at the Asylum called Case #1 or simply yet "Play with them."

According to Dr. Oikar, the 9 year old child's name was Branden and the 12 year old's name was Ludwig, they were brothers and there were no reports of anything bad in their household, no drama, no family feuds and no traumatizing events.

Let's focus on Branden first, he had no records of mental issues or any medical problems, he was perfectly fine and the doctors were worried that the parents just sent the kids here because the parents might have not had the resources to keep the kids. The doctors didn't have a choice and agreed that the kids would be safer in the asylum rather than giving them back to the parents. The same goes for Ludwig obviously but unlike his brother, ludwig had some scratches and bruises when he was dropped off at the asylum.

Dr. Oikar was worried that the family might have been abusing the child and called child services but unfortunately the police found no evidence or any kind regarding to abusing the child, the case was dropped a few weeks later.

About two months in the asylum the children were still shy and still refused to communicate to Dr. Oikar, the doctor thought of a plan on how to get the kids to talk. It took the doctor a week to gather all the materials he needed for his plan, after setting up and clearing room #1, Doctor Oikar called it the Play room, he ordered one of the nurses to watch over the kids at night.

The first few weeks of watching the kids the nurse didn't see any problem and was fine as stated in his reports, On the fifth week of watching over the kids, the nurse noticed something eerie, the kids would only play with one toy at a time and would put it in the box right after then move on to the next toy, this went on and on until they ran out of toys to put in the box, the kids then pointed at the box and the nurse thought that they wanted the box to be open and so he opened the box and put the toys back to the floor but the kids repeated the same thing and put the toys back in then pointed at the box.

This went on for months according to the reports, the nurses and doctors have no clue on why the children did that almost every day. Doctor Oikar wanted to see this personally so he volunteered to watch over the kids for one night.

The night passed and the following morning the nurses were worried that the doctor didn't come out of the playroom, they decided to check the room out only to have found out that the room was completely empty, the door was locked from the outside before the nurses went in so there were no possibility that they went outside, the nurses checked every inch of the room and found nothing, one of the nurses checked the box of toys and only found the doctor's notebook.

The only thing that the nurses found of value in the notebook was a page, this was written inside it :

"Kids are getting annoying, putting the toys in the box and letting me go take it out again, I'm too old for this and I stopped fetching the toys for them." - 1:00 AM

"Kids were suddenly quiet, must be asleep" - 2:00 AM

"Kids are gone, They must be inside the box, I will check it out." 3:33 AM

The nurses and the other doctors were confused, Dr. Samuel told the nurses to not speak of this again.

A few days after the incident, Dr. Samuel locked the play room and posted a message on the door.

"Do not open."

Some of Dr. Samuel's written works in his diary was found inside his files, this was in it regarding the first case :

"Dr. Oikar failed to notice that the children were not supposed to be bored, Dr. Oikar's temper have been the possible death of him, I told my nurses a valuable lesson today, if ever we get young patients again, whatever you do, you play with them.

YELLOWNERD, YOU ARE A GENIUS! I am loving this all so far. It's so eerie & interesting. Your crafting of words & integrating a documentary style story is really an attention grabber. I'm really hoping it takes some twisted turns haha. (It sorta reminds me of American Horror Story: Asylum but that's a really good thing.) Keep up the series because I'll be waiting o.o

P.S. I can't wait for a certain *cough*character like me*cough* to show up if possible.

Saysky : Hello and welcome back to Mystery or Truth : Documentaries, today we'll continue with our topic about the Erboh : Asylum and now let's get to it, last episode we finished reading all case #1, now we take a look at case #2. The case happened two months after the first case.

The asylum completely buried the first case and have not since talked about it, so anyway, Let's get to the second case or the case they call "The Darling's Fan."

It was a couple of months after the first case, the asylum kept quiet about the disappearance of Doctor Oikar and the children. Doctor Samuel hired few new employees ; two doctors, three nurses and an additional security guard.

It was about dark when the asylum got a call from a rather British fellow, he stated that there was a crazy woman in his apartment, the doctors agreed to take the women away and put her in the asylum.

The doctor's file just stated that the woman is called "Darling", she was called in for her odd behaviour, one of the most noticeable thing about her is that she dressed like she's in a Victorian era. About a few weeks of observing "darling", the doctors have noticed that she had a weird collection of fans and they decided to give her a box of fans and she loved it.

Darling continued to requests fans about for until a week since they started giving her fans, the doctors were confused as to why she suddenly stopped requesting fans.

The rest of the files were just pictures of the fans, the fans were very colourful and beautiful, they also vary in sizes and designs.

A few months passed and the doctors noticed that darling didn't really do much, she was completely silent and she barely moved at all.

Here are some parts of the conversations between the nurses and doctors :

Nurse : Are you sure she didn't have a stroke

Nurse 2 : I swear, she's fine but she's really just standing there staring at the door, It creeps me out honestly.

Doctor : Now now, I have checked the files and she doesn't have any problems what so ever on her.

Nurse : Ah man, It's my shift tonight, I'm gonna go get ready.

A few hours during the nurse's shift, the nurse went out for a bit to get some coffee and some food.

The nurse's logs were given to us and here's what's inside :

"I'm cold and this little lady is just staring at the door, I'm creeped out honestly." 1:00 AM

"I swear to god this lady, stop staring at the door!" 1:30 AM

"There's exactly 665 fans in the room, creepy." 2:30 AM

"I cannot believe I just counted all of those fans earlier, i need something better to do" 3:00 AM

"I'm getting hungry, i'm going out for some snacks. " 3:25 AM

A few hours passed and the supposed next nurse came into the room and he was shocked and instantly screamed, hours later the police arrived and was shocked to see the scene.

The nurse was found stabbed to death approximately six hundred and sixty six times with each fan, the police were confused because in the nurse's reports, "darling" only had 665 fans and couldn't possibly stabbed him with a new one, also, the police were confused that darling didn't have any blood on her and there weren't any evidence that she actually touched the fans nor did she move from her spot.

The police couldn't pin the arrest on Darling and was still confined in the asylum.

The asylum didn't bring any more nurses to watch over darling at night, instead just delivers food to her door which was by then heavily locked and padded.

Up to this day, no one knew where the 666th fan came from and that no one was guilty of killing the nurse.

There were reports that the final fan was made by the demon itself as the only fan that was different was the only red fan which had a picture of an Oni.
