Return of Groups

I have an honest suggestion.
We bring back groups.
Why?
-Many newer members never got to experience groups?
-Groups gave us something unique, but something we could still share
-I don't know anyone that didn't like groups at some point

How to spice it up:
-Create Ranks from groups and let them have permissions within the...
ex. [Group Member] [Group Mod] [Group Admin] [Group Owner]
-Return of the private forum section.

How to keep it safe:
-Groups can be deleted if they bully other groups, members
-Advertising groups outside of signatures = group deleted

If You would like to give this a shot:
-Have it be a trial, and see if you like the way it's going.
-Don't allow old groups (Noitu loveR, Yami Kage, Epic Alienz, Havok, Underdog Inc.) to continue the uniqueness
-Set new requirements for creating a successful group (Preferably less members interested in joining groups so you don't have to pray for a spam of members wanting to join your group)

Groups were gotten rid of in the first place because they became inactive.

What would change now that would make them active?

Very good point.
There's not really a way to ensure that they would be.

EDIT: Perhaps if you are inactive from your group for x amount of days you get removed and placed as a default member?

(Like contests and stuff for specific groups)

I don't know about other groups, but Havok tried that and nothing really came of it.
