15 and have a kid

Something most people dont know about me here. I have NEVER talked to anyone about it other than my gf(the mother) and my parents. But I am 15 and have a 6 month old baby. Me and my girlfriend were having sex,one time(of course),about 15 months ago. And being the stupid kids we were,I didnt use a condom. Well,now of course,we have a child. His name is Drake,and he is the cutest little thing. But,it's just so hard to do school and take care of him and my gf. I dont want to be one of those stuck up bastards who deserve to die and leave her because of the child. But,it is just so hard man. And I have no clue what to do. HELP please.

2. If it gets to the point that you can no longer take it, then try putting him up for adoption. Just an idea.
3. If 2 doesn't apply, then you should take care of him, raise him well, and do your best.

and again, sorry for what I said about #1, it was how I was raised, I promise. I have nothing against underaged parents, but I have been told by my parents time and time again not to do it. Again, I'm sorry.

I know what you're going through. the decision to put a child up for adoption is a tough one. and its something you should discuss with you GF. but if you truly do not want to lose your child, then tough it out. its hard I know. but you'll get by. you and you gf. your parents may not want to help, but ask them for advise. a good parent always gives their child advise. and if not, always try and sneak out advise. ask them what they did with you in certain situations. ask your gf's parents, ask friends parents, ask friends who are parents. to use an old adage, it takes a village to raise a child. good luck my friend.

Thanks for some advice that works in my situation,man. I may try to sneak it out of them.

Just don't leave the kid.

I can't even imagine how hard this is for you and your gf to go through. There isn't much you can do but just go through with it. Do your best with your studies. If your parents won't even offer advice, there are other ways to seek it. Counsellors at school, etc. I wish you the best of luck with this, I have heard raising a child is such a joy. It's hard work, but it's a labour of love. I wish I could offer better advice, but there really isn't. This is the kind of thing you take day to day, there is no real planning except for you to ensure you graduate.

This must be really hard for you man. Just keep your head in the game and never lose hope. This kid is part of you and you gotta loo after him. This may be really difficult for you but your only option is to take care of this kid.

But,anyway,I think I am going to keep him. I was on the edge of keeping him or not but after reading some posts here,I think I will go with keeping him. One of the main things in my decision was imagining my life without my real parents. I mean I cant imagine a white boy growing up in a black families house(not a racist comment) because he would be freaked out. It would probably scare him,and even a white/asian/whatever else family once he found out,I couldnt imagine that.

but Adoption is a great thing to consider. they help a lot. and sometimes it works out with remarkable results. I mean look at Steve Jobs.
not that its foolproof. not sure weather you're American or not, but our child care services are f**ked. my nephew stayed in foster care for over 2 years because the social workers didn't trust my mother as a care giver. even though she already had custody of 3 of his siblings. it took so long he started to call the foster parents mom and dad.
