My Pokemon Problem

Yeah, I'm ZoroarkPKMN. Hi. How's it going?

As most of you know, am an a TREMENDOUS Pokemon fan.
I'm a fan of the games, anime, TCG, even toys.
But my brother has been telling me that liking the TCG and anime is retarded.
I recently ordered the rarest Pokemon card in on Amazon, and received it today. (Only about 100 copies were made)
He always says that the anime has jumped the shark.
My brother keeps saying that the original Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise cards are the rarest, and that mine isn't.
(The rare one I got was a limited-edition Mew card that is in another language)
I need help. Should I give up the TCG and anime, or stick to what I like?

actually, the RAREST is a level 100X Rainbow Dash card, with a 20% cooler (shinier) card, with Sonic Rainboom, Rainuke (Rain-nuke), and the Pokebody ability Pegesus

IMO 90% of the people will not want to send you their cards.
And the 10% that don't care about their cards and would be willing to send them won't feel like getting them and going through the trouble of mailing them.
