Paranoid

Since February, there have been reports of robberies going around in my town, some in my neighborhood. The way the robbers would steal (if you were home), is that they'd ring the doorbell and either leave or have someone occupy all of the family members, while the other people sneak in the back. My family was watching TV when we heard someone ring the doorbell. About 3 of the 4 people downstairs went to check who rung, but no one was there. I stayed back and checked the back door. I became very paranoid and scared that someone is trying to rob us.
My sister and dad discovered that the neighbors across the street were having a party. We're not sure if we almost got robbed, or if some troubled neighbors were playing a prank.

What do you guys think? I'm very scared and paranoid...

Relax, keep your doors locked, if it gets really bad, have your family contact the police to see if they could send officers to keep a watch on the neighborhood. I hope everything works out.

Wow! I'd be scared shitless..

stay calm. but there is nothing wrong to be diligent. keeping an eye on the back while someone is at the front is not paranoia. you just want to keep you and your family safe.

an example is there have been abductions in my local area. it is not paranoid to tell your niece to never go out alone, or to tell her brother to never leave her when they are coming home from school. I know she is reletivly safe, as she is always with a large group of freinds and one really big kid who would scare Shaq. but you always want to take these precautions.

umm... lets see. you could set up cameras around the house to see if you can catch them next time it happens. i live in a part of rochester with like no crime rate (never seen a crime happen here) but if that ever happened to me i would set up cameras.

i dont know why i love paranormal activity. i just like to think that the creator is aware how stupid it is and that it was secretly meant to be a satire on ghosthunters or some other ghost hunting show. like how the room is a satire of poorly made romantic dramas.

its actually imo getting a bit better. IMO!! i saw the paranormal activity 4 trailer and i gotta say that i am pumped. hot chicks, creepy kids outside, hints to slenderman... (jk) but it looks like it is actually tributing marble hornets with how the trailer looks. :D
