Episode 14: The Final Battle Part 3
The bloodbath hasn't ended yet. Our next crew of victims are the members of Xdomia, the once great country. Now reduced to a pile of rubble under the ocean just like all the other countries. Robopolis is a Hell to live in. We've already lost almost every member of each group. Anyway, Sergeant Spike, GoB, and Rarity took the doorway in the South. Rarity walked up to God of Bronies, "GoB, darling, what kind of despicable situations do you think Rob has planned for us now?" GoB pondered the thought for a second, "I'm not sure, Rarity. Spike?" "I'm not sure, but we have to be prepared for anything," replied Spike. Instantly the intercom clicked back on, but it wasn't Rob's voice. The voice was full of a twisted sense of excitement, "Why hello my victims. You must be GoB, God of all things Brony." GoB replied, "Who are you? Do I know you?" The voice was quick to reply, "You don't know me, but your friends Rarity and Spike do. I even hacked the reality of their world before." "Discord!" exclaimed Spike and Rarity simultaneously. Discord cackled, "Ha ha ha ha! Correct, my friends. Now, for this little game, you have to make it to my room. There are security cameras and infrared lasers everywhere, and if you trigger anything, the whole room will explode. You're safe where you are now, but once you take a step beware. And, I'm not going to allow cheating. Good luck!" Discord snapped his fingers and Rarity's horn disappeared, as well as GoB's horn and wings. Security cameras activated, and the infrared lasers beamed in an odd, inaccessible pattern.
The three observed the everything around them. Although Discord is well known for his tricks, he never lies. As he said, GoB, Spike, and Rarity are safe from where they were standing. If they take another step, though, then the room would explode. They had to plan their movements carefully. "First," GoB started, "We have to deactivate the security cameras." Rarity instantly denied that plant, "I don't have my horn so I'm useless. WAIT!!! Spikey Wikey, can you use your fire?" "I could try," replied Spike. He breathed out as hard as he could, but nothing came out. "Damn. Discord must have disabled my fire," complained Spike. "This is going to be harder than it looks," admitted GoB. Rarity and Spike silently agreed. The only noise in the room as the static of the beams, and the whirring of the cameras. Spike chimed in with an idea, "GoB, you hold up Rarity, Rarity, you lift me up, I'll see what I can do with the camera." The two nodded. Rarity grabbed Spike, and GoB lifted up Rarity. Spike ducked under the camera's glance and dismantled it with his claws. He hopped back to his original spot. "What do you know!" he exclaimed, "This one's actions and directives are transmitted to all the other cameras. Discord wasn't always one to think out his traps." Spike flipped a switch on the back of the camera to "Disarm Machine". Everyone lifted each other again, and Spike reattached the camera. The camera transmitted the action to all the other cameras and they all were disarmed.
That was over with, but there was still the matter of the lasers. All the nodes were cleverly sealed, and there was no switch or anything to dismantle. This was going to be harder than the cameras. No one, not even Spike, was small enough to dance through the lasers. And without their horns GoB and Rarity were useless. They had to get through, but at the same time, they were afraid of the fact that the room could blow up with any wrong movement. The lasers just sat there, taunting the trio. It's red hue was mesmerizing, and was driving everyone insane. The way it faded in and out, the way it buzzed, the way it danced like fire in everyone's eyes. It was heckling our heroes. Everyone was aware that their friends were probably getting slaughtered as they sat there and waited. Luckily Discord has patience. If this was Rob, he would've probably set the room on fire like he did with Castiel and Noremac. Rarity finally broke the silence, "Are we going to sit here and stare at the lasers, or are we going to strategize?" Spike spoke without moving his eyes, "I'm sorry Rarity. There's just no way we could get past the lasers. I mean, we're talking about Discord, here. Master of Reality." That's when Spike had the realization. He got up and stared at the lasers. "Spike, what are you doing?" questioned GoB. Spike got in a running position. "Spikey Wikey, please don't do this to us!" cried Rarity. A tear dropped from Rarity's eyes. Spike spoke, "Guys, if I'm the cause of our death, sorry." GoB and Rarity closed their eyes as Spike ran across the field of lasers. Each laser scanned his body as Spike ran to the other side of the room. Nothing happened. The lasers disappeared, but nothing blew up. "Discord is always pulling cheap shots like that. Let's go teach our old friend a lesson," said Spike with a smirk.
Everyone ran into Discord's control room. "The game's over, Discord!" shouted Spike. "Ahh, but the games have only just begun," started Discord, "Assassin. Help me, how you say, assassinate these pests." Assassin grinned evilly, "With pleasure." The two baddies jumped into action. Discord snapped his fingers and the room changed. There were no walls, and the floor was floating in cosmic space. Some tiles of the floor expanded and floated out over the abyss. Shooting stars shot across the sky. The battle for survival began. Unfortunately GoB and Rarity were still missing their horns, and GoB was still missing his wings. Spike also still had no fire. Discord threw a fireball at Rarity, but she jumped out of the fireball's range. She hopped across the tiles and bucked Discord in the face. "That's not very nice," mused discord. He grabbed Rarity by the leg and threw her into the abyss. She landed on a floor tile and used her strength to pull it back up to the top. GoB pounced on Discord, but Assassin stuck one of his two swords into GoB's side. The Brony crumpled to the ground in pain. Rarity and Spike blocked Discord and Assassin from GoB's weak body. Assassin came close to finishing GoB, but Spike slashed him across the face. His blood dripped out, but Discord used his powers to turn the blood drops into bombs and fired them at Spike. Spike grabbed a nearby tile and blocked the explosion with it then threw it at Discord, slitting his wrist. Well, that infuriated Discord. He teleported to GoB's side and grabbed his head. In a split second Discord twisted GoB's head and snapped his neck. As quick as a whip Discord as gone, just like GoB's pulse. Discord than appeared above everyone and started throwing lightning bolts. Rarity and Spike hopped around avoiding the strikes. "Rarity, throw me up to Discord!" commanded Spike. Rarity nodded and launched Spike. He pushed his claws through Discord's eye and into his brain. He managed to tear it to shreds before pulling out his blood soaked arm. Discord fell and died. The area returned to the dim control room once again. GoB's corpse got its wings and horn back, but it was too late. Rarity also got her horn back, and Spike got his fire back.
That's when Assassin leaped out of the shadows again. He let out a battle cry as he swung his two swords at Spike. Sergeant Spike jumped in between the two blades and moved them aside as he breathed fire right in Assassin's face. "AAAAUUUGHHHH!!!!' he screamed as the burn spread. His face was full of scars, burns, and blood. That didn't stop him, though. He kicked Spike across the room and stabbed Rarity in her belly. "Sp-Sp-Spike. I-It h-h-hurts," she cried. Her guts spilled out to the floor and Rarity's body fell to the floor with a loud thud. "RARIIIIITYYYY!!!!" shouted Spike. He got back on his feet and ran at Assassin dodging every swing of the swords. He uppercutted Assassin in the face then took a sword and chopped off his arm. Assassin took the other sword back with his good hand and tossed it at Spike but missed. It hit a pipe directly overhead which poured out a toxic steam that finished off Assassin.
Spike ran as fast he could into the next room and mourned the loss of GoB and Rarity when Kain and Castiel consoled him. "It's okay, kid," said Kain. "We lost our teammates too. We'll get revenge on Rob for this," said Castiel calmly.
