One person to do 'ERB news' ?

The idea being, one person updates an 'official ERB news' topic, and that has the hints and things that are out for everyone to see. Instead of a new person on the site having to sift through a few hundred pages of 'upcoming erb discussion'.

Do you guys think thats a good idea?
Also, who would be in charge of keeping it up to date?
They would have to be very active, responsible, smart, able to write well, and enjoy finding hints, watching NicePeter, EpicLloyd, GiveMeMotion, Mary Doodles, and reading 'upcoming erb discussion/speculation' to stay up to date on things..

I nominate either Dion, Doc, or Spike.

Qualifications:
Actively watching youtube.
Work as a Social Media agent, which requires strong writing skills.
Am actively just about every day on this forum.
Am able to devote hours throughout the week for this.

I think this should be a decision that Rob makes.

I'd rather not leave it for a poll as something like this can end up skewing the result and end up putting someone who wouldn't be qualified to do this position. I would rather have someone who we can trust/count on do this rather than have someone who is "popular".

I'm not trying to come off as a hardass or a douchebag. If there is going to be something like this, the probably channels/people should be in place for it so it's ran smoothly as well as have quality control.

I don't want to sound conceited, but:
I'm incredibly active.
Everyone here knows I'm a Hell of a writer :p
I'm pretty smart.
I enjoy finding hints, and watching NP, EL, and Mary Doodles videos.
I would love the opportunity.

Anyway, I also think Noremac would be good too.

i honestly, like this idea, have it pined, or and being the official stuff like lets say the new dis raps comes out, and instead 20' people putting it up we'll have like SBS or, Dion to know its official topic

A lot of people seen me post when the next ERB is coming out, and new DRFH, and when there is new videos of NP and EP, I always post them, I am very active, nicepeter and EpicLLOYD actually responded to my messages on twitter telling me when the next ERB is coming out and DRFH, so I think i would be good :pimp:
I also post when anything is being re-scheduled, (Like the monday show,ERB,DRFH, anything else!) :pimp:

Haha, me? I was one of the first ones to want to do this when you brought it up months ago. Everyone knows that I'm in like the Top 3 most active people, I can write well if I try (which I would of course!), and by God I love to watch me some NP or EL or Dante, etc.

Rob, the decision is all yours.

I, personally, would love the job. I'm very active, and I always think outside the box. I think I would do great at this job. I'll be responsible, I never trolled, I'm honest, and I'm great at researching.

I understand that everyone on the forum is a huge ERB fan, and a lot of people would love to have the opportunity to do this. However, writing for the forum is a big responsibility. We can't let people who get angry at people or get into arguments representing the forum. We are a community for Epic Rap Battles of History, a very large, very popular youtube series. The right thing to do, is to not exclude fans from the community, and to be accepting of people who are different. Because there are a lot of different people who are fans of ERBoH, and we want them all to be able to enjoy it.

So even though we have a lot of mature members on the forum, helping with official things like this requires a very high level of maturity. If you do things on the forum that reflect poorly on yourself (or on the forum), then you won't be considered for positions like this one.

Since I try to pick people who are very responsible, it takes some time to find the right person.
Remember, even though there can only be one person who writes the 'official' ERBoH forum hints, there can be plenty of people who contribute to it and find hints and come up with ideas.

I think I'm still in? I know I used to be immature, and got into fights, but I haven't ever since I got my own group, like 2 months ago. And, I always try to be responsible and help people, so I think I'm still in!

Nah, it was my guys. I spoke to Rob and he wasn't impressed with my behavior with Sunk. He did say if I improve, he'll consider me for future positions.

I personally think Castiel, Spike, or Skyler should be the news reporter, but that's just me.

Here's an idea.

There's two people, the "anchormen/women", who report on news relating in ERB releases, merchandise, etc. Example: "Breaking News: Freddie Mercury vs. Frank Sinatra has been revealed to be ERB #22 and will be released Monday, October 1st.
There's another person, a "weatherman", who reports on news relating to ERB hints. Example: "In a recent tweet, Nicepeter has confirmed that he must exercise in order to play a character that he's 'always wanted to play'. Rumors show that this character may in fact be Freddie Mercury, Peter's idol and lead singer of Queen"
A third person, the "on-the-spot reporter", will update on news referring to original songs by Peter, Lloyd, or Dante, new pieces of art by Mary, the Monday Show, etc. Example: "Nicepeter's recent Monday show has puzzled many fans. It is a basic song sung by Peter, Lloyd, and Dante that relates to them recently shooting a rap battle. Peter comments on the fact that during the video, his hair is slicked back for the character. We'll get back to you later. Thank you."

I think that's a really good idea. makes me want to make a YouTube series about it :laugh:
the 'erb' writer would be writing posts for the homepage that I made but never released.

Also, the comments were in general and not geared toward anyone specific.
Everyone should try to keep their cool even in stressful situations.

remember my series i was gonna make? it was gonna have parts in it with ERB news. :D

I'm probably a little late for this, but I was planning on doing a news corner that revolved around things that relate to Nice Peter, Epic Lloyd, Give Me Motion, and Mary Doodles. We could probably do it weekly and maybe eventually it would evolve into something more were we can review fan made rap battles and help the forum get its name out there. :)
