This may not seem like a big deal

But I got in a fight with my mom today. In fact, it's happened every day except when the little incident happened here. Anyways, the fights are always about chores. Could someone help me to remember to do my chores? And have a positive attitude? I always say no to her and that usually sparks the fight.

I go on there all the time actually. Doesn't really help unless my mom isn't yelling at me to get off my ass and do my chores.

get off you ass and do your chores. ;)

you just need to remind yourself that you need to do this and that. like when you wake up tell yourself to do your chores. it is best to do them when you wake up instead of sitting down and doing something first.

and never tell your mother no.

I try to remind myself, but I'm thinking of so many other things like school, popularity and this other teenage crap.

well stop worrying about popularity. it is not important. so stop worrying about it. and school should not be a big deal if you pay attention enough. you seem like a smart guy.

You have a point Kain, but I can't remember anything, trust me, I didn't remember when I made that post that destroyed our group.

Ive never told my mom "no" and Ive never cursed in front of my family...
I suggest you do your chores. Write it on like a whiteboard or something to remind you.
She's your mom, never let anything come between you and your mom.

Do your chores, man. Doing chores is healthy for you. Do as Bobby said, and write it up. It makes you more structured as a person, and as time goes, you will get faster at doing them. It can't take more than an hour, right?

Also, fighting with your mother isn't good at all. My mother couldn't treat me and my brother right. She treated me like i was a 8 year old who never listened, and my brother like a baby. Me and my mother got in to fights every day, my dad backed me up, we got help from others as well. Now me and my mother barely talk.

I really miss having a mother, the mother i had when i was younger. If you have a good mother, don't do that to her.
