How is Havok active?

So I just got asked a question I'm not sure how to answer...

"How is Havok active?"

We have the most active members. Plain and simple. We have a wonderful infrastructure and the leaders are active.

We have a large amount of members who are usually always on, and a private section that has a new post around every hour or so.

What I think the person is actually asking is how did Havok get to be active.

Well, we got a gimmick of sorts, and we're always friendly to new users and try to keep a good image.

Well, in an effort to save the Epicz group, what does Havok do in their private forums that keep the section active? Are they contests? Are they FMERBs? LAWLzoR and I feel that the tactics you guys use are what Epicz should be using as well.

We dont really do contests/FMERBs (We've tried, but people dont really seem to be too into it). I think a huge reason we are so active is 'cause we have cool avatar/sigs that most of us use (made by Chi/Dion/Zero/SR). That attracts new members which in turn means more actives. Same goes for our color, which is a cool shade of green while Epicz' group could is basically a bolded default, and that may not seem very attractive to new members.
Step one to more activeness: find a way to attract more members, when this is done, you will get more activeness since a bunch of Epicz members would be online at once and a Epicz member could post into your private section knowing he'll/she'll get a reply, if that makes since.
Dark Rebelz and Havok are the most active groups all around (mostly Havok), and if you'll notice, they both have signature avatars and sigs - Coincidence, I THINK NOT!

-Also, we have a writing section, Chatzy, and discusstion about the overall forum and how we feel about. Havokians are bonded pretty well.
