Some advice

So I need some advice.

A while ago I had my Immortals series in writers corner with my staff of 4. One is unable to continue to be staff and me and Yackers are the only other active ones. This week was zoroark's turn to write and it would be his first one he writes as last time he was suppose to he had to bail because he was to busy. This time I said I would be more strict with the deadline. I pushed the deadline day back and extra day to hopefully help him. I also said that if he did not meet the deadline I would fire him as there is no more episodes in the season to write.

Today I go to check in on how its going as the deadline is tomorrow and he tells me he needs an extension to the deadline that extends to Sunday. Sunday is when I post the episode

I want to know if I should fire him or not. I want to show that I was serious but I also don't want to seem mean.

what do you think I should do?

Well if he doesn't have it on Sunday then you should most definitely fire him. :0

That's probably the most logical thing I could think of.

You should write a back up just in case. N give him till Sunday night if he doesn't then u post yours n fire his ass

Iiight thank you all for the help. I told him if the entire thing is not in by Sunday he's fired. I also said if he doesn't send in what he has now by tomorrow then the former deadline will be the same. Him sending me the work he has now is just a safety net so I can finish it if he's fired.

It's still kind of sad that we started with 4, but it may only be 2. Have you sent him a reminder?

several. Don't worry this has also been a big learning experience for me. Season 2 will go better. You still in for it?
