The New Battle

I know I just joined your group again, but you guys are like family, so I think I could be truthful about the new ERB without being flamed. Please respect my opinion, as I will respect yours.

The new ERB, in my opinion, is a step down from the others. Even Adam and Eve. The costumes and impressions, at least from the cover and audio so far, are great! But the beat is lacking something, and a lot of the lyrics are a little try too hard, or just attempts at making references. The battle was very short too, so that's another downside. It had a great opportunity, but a lot of the lines weren't that great. I admit, some lines were GOLD, but not enough to make this an enjoyable ERB for me.

I feel like it is a step up from more recent battles. (Nice hat dork, you look like a duck.). However, it isn't my favorite battle. That will always be Master Chief vs Leonidas.

Now that's a battle I love! I love how they were able to incorporate a Haloish like beat into war like beat.

MLK vs Gandhi is my favorite so far, but that may just be because MLK says "nigga", :p .

MLK vs Ghandi is probably my favorite ERB.

What makes an ERB good, is that it's not directed to a certain audience.

While MC vs Leo was awesome, most people wouldn't know who they are without watching 300 or playing Halo.

Everyone has heard of Ghandi and MLK.

It's middle of the pack to me. My favorite is Bruce Lee vs Clint Eastwood. I loved the western/dojo crossover beat, the Eastwood impression was GOLD, Lee was great too. Awesome lyrics, and the action packed video was GREAT. It'll be hard to beat Lee vs Eastwood IMO

I loved the battle. It was very well made IMHO. My favorite ever, which well never ever be beat, is Steve Jobs vs Bill Gates. It has an amazing beat, all 3 rappers are amazing, and it had a third party rapper. Also, the background for the iTunes cover and the backgrounds in the video are amazing.

I can't say that MLK vs Ghandi is my favorite battle yet. I haven't even seen the video.

But as of now, it's still damn good.

Although my top 3 will forever and always be:

1. Wright Bros vs Mario Bros
2. Mr T vs Mr Rogers
3. Steve Jobs vs Bill Gates

I have to agree the new battles lately haven't been da same compared to the many greats like (mr t vs mr Rogers. Bieber vs batoven) it's just the lyrics to me aren't catchey n no marry noodles or heroin jokes I notice.

I feel like the thing that killed it for me was MLK's last verse. The first two lines were way too sloppy.

I don't even understand that line XD.
