Beat: It's not mind-blowing or anything, but it's everything you could want in a beat. Undeniably catchy, got some very intense moments, and it's fairly fitting for these rappers. Maybe it's a bit more fitting for the turtles than the artists, but there's really not much to complain about here. 9/10
Impressions and Costumes: Costumes are flawless, no complaints at all there. Well, there's the thing at the beginning of the TMNT verse where the mouth movement is kind of lame, but after that it's perfect. It's the voices I don't really care for. I know they have guests and want to show off their rapping styles, but I think a slight Italian accent for these guys couldn't have hurt too much. Also, Lloyd is a bit better at the turtle voices than Peter is. 8.5/10
Artists-Round 1: The opening Cowabunga line is a wasted reference that doesn't make any sort of joke, and the next line isn't even any sort of reference. I sort of like the classical technique and street line, but it's not brilliant or anything. The mincemeat line is a pretty good reference, but the ladies line seems a bit pointless and the last line is just a generic pass off. I'd probably give da Vinci's lines a 7.5/10. Donatello is awesome. The chocolate turtle line is one of the most clever set up lines they've ever used, and the six foot chisel line is pretty good too. The goop-poop line isn't really a dis, and it doesn't even seem to set up the next line at all, but I like the references coming together in the last line. Donatello's lines here would get a 9/10. Raphael's opening line is completely referenceless and literally any other character could've used it and it would've made just as much sense. The boning line seems a bit fact-statey. I like the MC Shredder line, but the last line is just another generic pass off. Raphael is the weakest artist here, and he'd probably only get a 7/10 here. Michelangelo's giant line is another pretty clever set up line, although it's not as clever as Donatello's set up line. The David and Goliath reference is great, the rap God line is really clever, and the Last Judgment line is another good reference. Michelangelo is the best artist here, and he'd get a 9.5/10 from me. The science and mathematics line isn't that clever, the architects of rebirth isn't that clever either, but I really love the last line. So the group rap at the end gets a 7.5/10. There's a lot of good in here, but with such a long verse, there are also a few too many filler lines coming with it. 8/10
TMNT-Round 1: I won't be rating each turtle individually like I did with the Artists because they each only have, like, 2 lines. The opening bit with Splinter is funny and it adds character, even if it isn't overly clever. Same goes for the "floppy helicopter" line. The Bebop and Rocksteady reference is pretty good, but the Pristine Sistine line only sounds cool. The cool but rude line is pretty lame, but the school reference is pretty good. Donatello is definitely the best turtle here, because both of his puns are both funny and clever. For its length, this verse goes for more risks than the Artist verse, and while not all of them hit, there's still more laughs per line than the Artists. 8.5/10
Artists-Round 2: The immature line isn't really clever, but the genius line is awesome. I'm glad they went back to make another sewer line instead of just barely grazing over it with the "raised in poop" line. The third line isn't any sort of reference at all, but the NES game reference is awesome. 8.5/10
TMNT-Round 2: First line is at least a reference, even if it isn't too clever. I was hoping they'd make a drawing dicks joke, and this one is perfect. The drop kick line isn't much of a reference at all, but I like the last line a fair amount. It's kind of immature and kind of stupid, but it's still funny and has a lot of personality. 8.5/10
Overall: As a finale, this battle is pretty underwhelming. We were all expecting something over 3 minutes long, and the lopsided lines is pretty stupid. But as a standard battle, this was still good. Awesome beat, great costumes, really clever references and nice puns all around. Not quite as good as the other battles in the storm, but still a very entertaining battle. 8.5/10
