This is a topic to chat about one of the best rappers ever, Hov. All his albums are amazing IMO other than the shitty one he did with Kanye... Ive been jammin' to Jay a bit more than often recently. Plus he's coming out with a new album, hopefully its not nearly as poppy as the latest Blueprint...

Brooklyns Finest, Renegade, Brooklyn Go Hard, and Dirt Off Your Shoulders are my favorite songs.

I heard his mixtapes/EPs before The Heist was even finished. (Im into underground/indie hip-hop pretty deep). I never liked him, still dont.

I have listened to a few of his other raps. And your right about me not liking much other rap. For I think it is just stupid shit spewed that is about gangster shit and getting pussy. I just don't think there is much ability needed besides talking fast and knowing how to rhyme and having a deep voice. I like ERB's, but other shit is just stupid and boring. I like funny songs or classical or jazz or maybe Queen.

Check out underground rappers then. They usually talk about more meaningful things like the struggles of life and persevering. Try Hopsin, he isn't really underground anymore as he is getting more exposure, but I think you will like him. Funk Volume!

Agreed. I hate most pussy, money, drugs, and gun rap. Im more of a underground guy. Some of my favorites are Hopsin, Dizzy Wright, Tech N9ne, Rittz, Kendrick Lamar, Danny Brown, Childish Gambino, Ab-Soul, Joey Bada$$, A$AP Rocky, OFWGKTA, Traphik, Watsky, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Big KRIT, Death Grips, Snow Tha Product, and D-Pryde. Underground raps the best because there's a rapper for everything and every style. Fuck Kanye, lol.
