VocalBound (Video Battles) - Battle 2 OUT

So, my green screen for the previous one sucked, so I found another green screen, but I need a new camera, and I'm getting a new camera, but not in a while. While that doesn't come, Imma try to make match-ups with physical backgrounds or stuff like that. Any match-ups that come in the top of my head (and later ones, actual characters) that I decided to make a rap battle of.

The first one is a remake of an old one that I want to make it better with actual editing and better writing, and so far, I got only the lyrics of (behold)

Wow, I really liked it! I really can't wait to see the video of this battle. Although this battle was awesome, there were too many lines about giving money. Everything else was really cool.

I'll try to make one of the 'giving money' lines more subtle or change something (I guess there are 3 mentioning that, but I really don't consider a 'penny for your thoughts' being one, I just used a well-known phrase and twisted its meaning. Thanks! I'm going to record the video today (although it's likely going to be full backgrounds instead of a green screen)

As mentioned, this will have a plot. Not just random battles. So after I release the 1st video here, I'll likely be writing the story and making the panels before making the next one. (There's also a bit of story before the 1st battle, but I want to get on with this already)

I liked it, but I felt like the rich kid was a lot more clearer than the nerd, and flowed better, so I think he won with some good lines also. However, should it be equal clarity and flow, I think the nerd might have won it for me.

It was exactly while I planned, though. (no, not making the Rich Kid win :v) I wanted to make sure the nerd really felt like one of these stereotype nerds, by which I mean a more high-pitched voice and starting off a bit more awkwardly. Maybe I went overboard and sacrificed equality for the sake of the acting, though.

Any other thoughts, beyond 'who won' (nobody, as stated on the end)?

Also, does anyone has any match-ups suggestion that you feel I can easily do?

There's a boy in the middle of the room. It's not his birthday, and even if it was, he would be unable to know. He also doesn't know how old he is. What he knows it's that today is the day that marks 4 years since he lost his memory, although that may not be the correct term.

Four years before, this boy suddenly snapped into reality. He didn't remember anything from before that, except for small glimpses that appeared in his mind once in a while, but he surprisingly had all the skills to talk english (as well as many other terms) properly, and knew things he shouldn't know, as he was stuck in a place with no direct human contect since then.

However, he didn't go savage. He knew how to behave and exactly what to do to survive, and the place he was was pretty forgiving. It gave him food, and various sources of entertainment along these 4 years, including radio, magazines, videogames and a computer with internet access, despite him being isolated.

The boy lacked friends though. Friends he remembered having, but not remembering who they were. He also lacked free will, as he couldn't go anywhere else. He was stuck in that place.

He was stuck in the tower. The Genesis Tower.

Because of all the things he lacked, and the fact he was locked, the boy decided to name himself Locke.

Mono-log
[spoiler:f2h74mek]Locke: It sounds good, although there's not a lot of meaning to it, since there's no one to call me by my name[/spoiler:f2h74mek]

The boy, despite having everything, was sad. He knew other people existed through the radio and television, but he didn't knew anyone. Despite having internet access, he wasn't able to talk to other people on the internet, only see what others were doing, and wasn't able to tell anyone about his predicament. He could talk about other things, but whenever he tried talking about where he was, either the computer would shut down, or he would fall asleep, for some odd reason.

He knew about laws of physics and biology and mathematics, and he was a genius for someone who didn't went to school (or at least, didn't remembered going to one), but that predicament was impossible for him to explain.

He didn't know what to do, either. How long would he live? What was his mission? He was the one locked in a tower (although, of course, he didn't know it was the Genesis one), unlike everyone else on the programs on the television.

He had a lot of questions, but no answers. He also couldn't explain the glimpses of things he never remembered seeing in his head whenever he went to sleep. While a lot of scenes appeared in his head, there were only two that were, sometimes, clear.

and any stereotypes to face a hipster? not to make it one-sided, though, I won't go for any 'awesome' vs. 'stupid' one, here.

I'm also planning to do 'new artist' vs. 'old artist'. It's different than 'new' vs. 'old' musician, though, as if people say that the old is better from the start, they are forgetting about all the movies and games the new one is making, so it's not one-sided (and I will reflect that in the lyrics). That is likely for a later battle though.

Against a Hipster, I need also a rather bad stereotype (with a connection, of course)

That's still a 'tad' one-sided though, haha. But I'd rather strike two fanboys against each other later on. A hipster 'aims' to be different, right? Maybe a Punk/Greaser/Gothic - someone else that does what he does to be different, but, of course, through different ways.
