I'm coming out to family

Okay guys...today's the day I've finally decided to tell my family that I'm gay...I'm nervous as fuck.

Wait I thought you were bisexual? Well I guess that also might not sit well with your family... Regardless best of luck, tell us how it went if they don't burn you on a stake :D

Well, yeah, I'm bi but it's all the same to them. Any words of advice?

I know how you feel dude, I remember when I came out to my parents that I was a lesbian, it was a really tough time for me, I was extremely nervous, it was tough.



The advice I can give you is, don't drag it out, don't beat around the bush, just spit it out, getting it done and over with is the best way to do it. And it seems your parents won't be keen on the idea, it seems, (no offense, just the way you worded it make me assumes your parents are like that)


I'd also to make sure to have a strong support base in case things don't go well with your family, so you don't bottle up inside if things do go wrong with your family....

Thank you so much, Gal From Mary Land, it means a lot to me. Yeah, my parents are super conservative and religious so they will not swallow this well (no pun intended). I'll be doing it tonight, I have rehearsed what I'm going to say already.
