relationship help

i need some advice.
there is this girl that i like(we are gonna call her KM) that i am friends with
and she is really beautiful and has a great personality. she is single right now but i don't know if she will go out with me. but the thing is, i have a girlfriend already(we are in a long distance relationship(she lives in a different town than i do).we will call her AE).
if i breakup with my girlfriend, she might hate me, and if i go out with the girl i like(km) im afraid if we breakup it will ruin our friendship.
Can somebody give me advice?

i dont see her. she lives in a different state that is far from mine. we video kinect sometimes.
i talk to km everyday. me and km have more in common than me and ae have.

It sounds like you're not in that good of a relationship with AE. But as so you have someone to fall back on, just go out with km without breaking it off with ae until you know for sure

if i go out with km i am afraid that it will ruin me and her friendship. plus ae will probably hate me. she hates breaking up with people

This might not be the greatest advice, however someone once said:

If you're in love with two people, go with the second one. Because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn't have fallen in love with the second.

One thing before I give my answer: how close are you to being trapped in the friendzone by KM at this point?

Well, at this point if I were you, I would dump AE and get with KM. Who cares if AE doesn't like you anymore if you barely see her anyways? There's no point in keeping a long distance relationship if you don't really want to be in it.
