A plan that will never be implemented...
You and Rob make a basic list of candidates you feel most fit and likely to succeed under whatever your new mod system would be.
Than you let the people choose via a vote. Even if it becomes a popularity contest the candidate field would be those you see most fit to succeed so it would be a collaborative effort. Every three months therein you and rob perform a job evaluation, pro's/con's of the current mod staff and change things as you see fit like in a real job, you tell the mod your decisions why you reached them and weather they have been promoted, demoted or (for lack of a better term) fired.
Nobody will agree with it but its my personal idea for how to fix things on that level.

Couple things:
1. CONGRATS NOREMAC! I remember having a dream about this happening only a few nights ago, now you just need to warn us about food and i'll be a psychic.
2. I'm fine with either way of doing mods, I'm fairly sure i'd be removed with the GM idea but whatever. I'm 2 weeks away from 15 years old and most people my age should not be in positions of power in the first place.
3. Dion is becoming Rob without the R and B but adding a D, I, and N.
