We have heard our brothers and sisters speak of their opinions and both admins have even stated what the case will be. Nate, if you wish to utilize the sharing option and wish to promote the site then you can do so on the other site Rob has offered you. Everyone else, there is no need to defend me because Nate does raise valid points. There are things I don't agree with and there are things I say no to. Has the site gotten worse because of it? No, it hasn't.

I always listen to opinions. I always take criticism. I am human just like everyone else on this site. This is all but harmless discussion.

Please continue to post suggestions, we're always happy to listen. Just know that we can't do everything, sometimes its too complicated for us, sometimes we're afraid to.

In this case, I think dion is making some good points. I looked over the posts in the link u provided to that addon, and it seems there are a lot of people who have had trouble with that addon and ran into a bunch of errors. I visited the addon creator's site, and some of their links don't even work.

The reason we can't apply some of the addons you guys find, is because we don't code them, there are random people out there that creates those addons for vBulletin. Addons need to be updated and maintained by the person who made them.

Sometimes when you have a bunch of different addons made by a bunch of different people, they cause problems when used together.
So they can mess up the forum in unintended ways. So its always good to try to avoid having too many addons.

I know that vBulletin 5 has social networking features built into it, so we will have them when that is finalized (its in beta right now).

But definitely feel free to share with your friends on facebook still.

And srsly, why haven't you made an account on Donkidong.com?

The rep system is basically the same as likes, except the ability to -rep, I think we can disable -rep if you guys think that is a good idea.

Its best to use features that are installed with the software, and try to resist adding new ones on.
Once it comes time to do a major update, most of the addons will not be updated for the new version, and will make upgrading a nightmare.
