As I said, I wanna thanks YellowNerd. His Paradox is amazing and it motivated me to write my own story. Given more time this could end up kinda like a Marvel vs DC contest.

Episode 4: Demons inside of us

Year Later

Do you wanna know what our lives are like. If you do then you will enjoy what you hear. This year was my best year. I dropped out of school (but I can't drop a verse) to help the citizens. So far we stopped many criminals, thieves, thugs etc. We formed a superhero team. Everyone loves us. We called ourselves Immortals.

"People die, but not the hope"

The Cookie Clicker really improved his fighting skills. He is really gifted. As he would say, Yolo. He isn't afraid of anything. He has done the ice bucket challenge twenty times without screaming like a girl. And the way he handles a gun, this leaves Agent Houston jealous.

Merge has not joined our team. He has a YouTube channel where he posts gaming video (2 million subs). He rarely uses his powers.

We thought that it couldn't get bad...

Agent Scott:Team we have a problem.
Gecko:A bank robbery?
Agent Scott:Worse.
Gecko:Agent Houston beat you in chess again.
Agent Scott:This is not funny. If you all come with me I will explain everything.

This was no training. At the city market, middle of Old York, 5 mysterious figures were standing, watched by random passers-by confused by what is going on.
IMMORTALS SHOW YOURSELF. COME. SHOW YOURSELF.
They're coming. I sense them.

In a couple of seconds we left the car and stood by them.

We are the unstoppable 5. We wanna make a deal. People, for too long we were letting you torture us, experiment on us. We were test subjects, worth nothing, only because we were different. We will not let this continue, you will be doomed. Immortals, do you wanna join us, help us get rid of those who hate us, or help them?

Solar:Nah I'm pretty sure they only hate the ones who threaten them. We rather save the innocent and you...I would kill you.

And so they disappeared.

Same night

This night was a nightmare for Mortic. He can't remember much from it. He woke up in the middle of the night, staring into the darkness.

"You miss them"
Mortic:Who is that. Show yourself.

"Your village...gone. Your superhero team...gone"
Mortic:Show yourself!!!

He was now looking around the room, but he was alone.

"Don't you wanna join them, in heaven?"
Mortic:No! Stop!

"Don't you wanna see the ones you love. It's easy. You know what to do."

Mortic then became conscious of what he's doing. He held a knife in his hand, pointing it at his chest. But why? He didn't know. He forgot.

Unknown location

THIS DRINK IS GETTING WARM.

"There you go" said Glasscock and he made ice appear in his drink.

"Thanks Glasscock. Dr. Hurt, have you found out anything about them yet." He questioned, as he made the drink fly up to him

Dr. Hurt:Not yet, Nemesis. I'm trying my best but I will need a better computer. Their database is well protected. But for me, there is no computer that can't be hacked.
Nemesis:Viro knows one of them. Mortic, a legendary warrior. Fought in the war of independence. He was the first mutant. He's our ancestor. Unfortunately they will have to die, if they wanna get in my way.
Viro:He is strong. I nearly killed him last night. Lost connection though. He could pose a major threat.
Nemesis:Don't worry. He is not the only one who posed a major threat. You know who else posed a big threat.
Dr. Hurt:Of course. It was difficult but I managed to replicate her DNA. Her blood runs in our veins. That's why we never age. We could live forever.
Nemesis:She was one of us. But she had to...sacrifice herself. Poor Lucina. I don't like killing our own kind.
Dr. Hurt:Since we have her DNA and technology we only need one more thing to recreate the storm from 1596.
