I don't think you've read enough batman comics

I've read enough to know the Joker isn't quiet and secluded. In The Dark Knight he's so somber and sad, when he's supposed to be laughing and insanely happy (not really "happy", he's just crazy)

I think you watched a different Dark Knight film, I can clearly see Joker being happy and shit.

The movies were supposed to take a more serious and realistic look at the franchise. I thought it did an excellent job of keeping him a lot more happy and laughy than the rest of the movie while not letting him get too over the top, which is why he's my second favorite movie villain (only behind Dr. Lecter).



Keeping in touch with the topic, the only movie in that trilogy that I really, really liked was The Dark Knight. BB and TDKR were both good, but neither left nearly as much of a lasting impact or made me think more than TDK.

I think the Dark Knight trilogy is shit. I don't like how they portrayed a lot of the villains. Joker was more evil and silent when he should be loud and crazy (Jack Nicholson for reference), they fucked up Two-Face, he was just Harvey Dent with a side of his face gone when Two-Face is supposed to have half of his clothes different, same with his hair.

It was too dark and too serious for Batman. All of the Batman villains are crazy sociopaths with big dumb smiles on their faces (Joker, Riddler, etc.) but in this trilogy they're all dark and shit. WTF

The entire point was to take on a darker and realistic tone to the series. I appreciate a director trying to do their own thing with a franchise as big as Batman, hard to change anything without so many people getting upset, but I don't mind it.

Loved TDK trilogy, love Chris Nolan. Only part I dislike about TDK trilogy is Bale's Batman voice. I still hate it. :c

I don't think that Heath Ledger's Joker being better than Nicholson's Joker is an unpopular opinion at all. I'd argue that the majority would probably agree. But even if like 60% thought Nicholson's was better, still not what I would consider an "unpopular opinion".

Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but the director's cut of Daredevil is one of my favorite Marvel movies.

I think 2 Fast 2 Furious is a severely under rated Fast movie. Not enough to say that it's necessarily better than any of the others. But it had a lot of merits and great scenes that people seem to overlook.
