BR80 - Battle of the Decade

I'm not going to pretend to set this up like it's an original idea. It's not. The forum is drowning in Battle Royales and I just want to write one. The only difference this time is that our warriors will all come from within a period of 10 years.

10 years of synth, hairspray, and brightly colored ski jackets. 10 years of 8-bit, beige computers, and cocaine. 10 years of beautiful, beautiful cheese. Those 10 years have become fondly remembered as none other than the 1980s.

The rules will follow the standard BR structure:

1. All characters must be from a work of fiction released to the public from January 1, 1980 to December 31, 1989. You have A LOT of options here so no characters from the same fictional universe either. Video games, movies, and television all count. It also doesn't matter if your character was technically created before the 80s, as long as there is an interpretation of them to use that WAS made in the 80s.
2. Nerfing and boosting will appropriately apply. Don't think just because you picked a hardened action character guarantees you a top spot. I want some variation here with the choices, so you can pick characters that normally wouldn't do well in a fight. Placement is more about what I can do with the characters/story than who would actually win. But I implore you, don't expect to win if you pick Snarf.
3. Try not to pick anyone that may have appeared in anyone else's BRs. I know this is separate from the continuity of VGBRs but I'd like to creatively explore new characters here.
4. Everybody have fun tonight, everybody Wang Chung tonight

Special: Call in the F.L.A.G. Mobile Unit, with everything it can provide (mainly a complete repair, but also some ramming action and/or a hiding spot if needed)

Special: Tony snorts a mountain of cocaine, and enters rage-mode, which makes him OP. (I'll let you play around that)

Special: Jaws conjures up a sharknado and starts wrecking shit (hey, it's not the 80s but the effects are about as good as one)
Alternatively if that's not 80s enough for you: another JAWS comes in except with even shittier effects than before
