Name: Freddy Fox
Personality: Freddy is friendly, smart, good natured…let’s face it. He’s a kid’s cartoon protagonist. What else would you expect?
Skillset and equipment: Freddy Fox is a cartoon, and so has all the stereotypical traits of one. Nothing can permanently hurt him, really. Just cover him in soot, make him require a full body cast, leave him cut in half until the next scene where he’s fine, you know the drill (not to say he can’t be killed, but that’s a lost episode that wasn’t suitable for kids). He also happens to have hammer space pockets. Oh, and he can pull out a joke about anything at pretty much any time. Let’s just hope there’s a Ranger racer and he decides to go all out on the puns.
Vehicle: The Flying Fox is an open topped, single seater car, looking a bit like a classic race car (like this http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/...20100606170623 , only with a red/gold colouring). To the right are five round, red buttons. These have no distinguishing features at all, however (somehow) Freddy always knows exactly what they do. What makes this all the more impressive is that there is no real consistency with what they do, yet the aforementioned still applies. What can they do? Well, release a bomb out the back, activates a speed boost, sends a glider up which allows the car to fall at a safe speed while traversing distance, activate the submarine mode, pretty much anything that can operate on cartoon logic. However, while it is unusually resistant, it has nowhere near the amount of toon invulnerability Freddy himself has, being prone to fall to pieces upon a strong blow. Or, more accurately, as the plot demands (that goes for whether it needs fuel or not). Speaking of, that’s the best way to describe what the buttons do: Exactly what is required with no real explanation. The kids just eat it up.
