Each area has been split into segments if the competitors are not close together. Each segment occurs roughly at the same time as the others.

The Ruins
Aang, Kid, and Toriel all reach the entrance to Snowdin. With reluctance but care for the children, Toriel ushered them through the doors to help them escape the crumbling Ruins. Unbeknownst to her, this was actually more dangerous, as they were nearing the source of the tremors. Rocks began to fall, and the two children run, calling after Toriel. The lovable goat mom, however, can't run as fast as them, and is trapped in the Ruins by a huge boulder. Aang rushes forward to earthbend it out of the way, but he is too late, as the entire structure begins to collapse in on itself. The bricks, made from impure elements, cannot be easily bent by the Avatar, and everything tumbles down in a resounding crash.
The Ruins is destroyed and is now the Collapsed Ruins.
NPC Death: Toriel

Aang rushed to the site and burst the boulder open, but nothing was left in the rubble aside from the shattered pieces of what looked like a little glass heart.

Indiana continues to book it as the tremors subside, and as no trap has come after him, he feels like he's in the clear. Stepping across the floor to the next door, Jones accidentally trips into a trap pit of leaves, and he tumbles to the floor below, just at the same time as the Ruins begins to collapse.
The Ruins is destroyed.
Jones is shaken, but he is alright except for a bruise or too. It was dark now, except for the slivers of light that shone through the broken rocks. He struggled up, now filled with determination to get the hell out of this damned purple hell.

Snowdin
Sub-Zero continues to rush through the frozen forests, quickly approaching Snowdin Town.

N, still falling above the Town itself, called out Zekrom to help him steady the flailing, screaming Reshiram. Jets of flame and lightning mixed in the sky for a split second, and then Zekrom was able to set them all down near the entrance to the town. Knowing Reshiram needed medical attention, N headed to the shops to see if he could buy something.

L is still reading in the Library. Hearing noises, however, he heads to the window and looks out. Some people were arguing and fighting. As of now, however, it wasn't of interest, and he continued reading about SOULS and "human history", involving a great war involving the great General Meowsers MacDougalpoof and the trusty Tuna Squad.

After everyone got up, dazed, the fingers began to point.
Atticus: It had to have been Jack! You killed that man!
Jack: I did no such thing! Besides, he was attacking me!
Atticus: That's besides the fact, you still could have subdued him! Defense or not, you still killed him when he was off his guard!
Jack: That's preposterous! I don't have that kind of power! Also, you had a gun!
Cole: You did have a flaming pumpkin. I say did. It's gone now, so how do you explain that?
Jack: I just dropped it!
Phoenix: Guys, I'm gonna play Devil's Advocate here, because I had my eyes on Jack the entire time. He looks ridiculous, anyways. But I didn't see him kill that bald man.
Atticus: We were just in the middle of an earthquake. It's natural for you to have seen something mistaken.
The arguing went on for a bit, and a crowd of monsters began to converge.
"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?"
The smell of fish permeated the air as Undyne, in full armor, entered the scene.
Undyne: I hear that someone just got murdered. Step aside, PUNKS!
Atticus: Oh, thank god, I assume you're the police.
Undyne: Royal Guard, you monochromatic human. Did you see who committed this act?
Monster, from the crowd: YES! WE ALL SAW IT! IT WAS THE SKELETON.
Eyes turned towards the house of Sans and Papyrus.
Monster, from the crowd: Not them, THAT one, the newcomer!
Eyes turned back towards the crime scene.
Undyne: Alright, sir, come with me, I'm taking you in for questioning.
Jack: I tell you, though, I didn't do it!
Undyne: IF YOU DON'T COME WITH ME RIGHT NOW YOU'LL BE PULLING A SPEAR FROM YOUR SKULL VERY SOON.
Phoenix: What's going to happen now?
Undyne: He's going to jail, of course, and then we'll have a trial soon. I'm just going to need a lawyer and a prosecutor, though, and we don't have any in Snowdin. For a catastrophe of this magnitude, we need to get this done ASAP, and I can't wait for them to come from New Home...
Atticus: I'm a defense lawyer, but I'm sure he did it. I can act as prosecutor.
Phoenix: But you don't even have evidence.
Atticus: Doesn't matter, I can do this. I have to put this monster to justice.
Undyne: I like the sound of that.
Phoenix: Well, I'm also a defense lawyer, so I can vouch for the defense's side.
Undyne: Alright then! We'll see you in a few hours at the courtroom.
Undyne, Jack, and Atticus walk off, discussing the case.
Cole: Look, I don't know whether he did it or not, but I'm sure I can help you investigate this case. There's more to this than would seem.
Phoenix: That's good. I'll need the help, as I don't have an assistant for the case. Let's start by roping off the crime scene.

Waterfall
Groot turns the corner to find a gigantic monster of about 20 hundred metric tons yelling and eating what appeared to be an onion. Or was it an octopus?
NPC Death: Onion-san
Killer: Godzilla
Startled by this, Groot stands perfectly still. Groot is large, but in comparison to the might of Godzilla, it wasn't very much, so the tree man wasn't really noticed. Groot shuffles along the ground slowly, beginning to edge by Godzilla.

The Joker and the Temmies hear a deafening roar as they decide to choose a path of action. As it came from the west, and whatever made it sounded
very mad, Joker decided that it would be in his best interest to head east and build up his plans before anything else.
Joker: Okay, Temmies, we're going to head this way.
Temmie 1: okAAAAY!
Temmie 2: hoIII!
Bob: I'm Bob.
Being this nice to a bunch of fluffy disgusting things wasn't easy, but Joker saw their potential to become killing machines. Again. It was time for the world to burn.

Raimundo, and Asgore are still riding the elevator to Snowdin. Deadpool had taken off a while back, instead using the territory's glitches and transport areas to try to attack Kefka.
Needles Kane has just left the jurisdiction of Hotland and is heading west.

Hotland
Eggman and Metal Sonic, by this time, have also vacated the True Lab, leaving it empty. Finding Alphys's lab around them, they take a moment to tack on some extra parts to the Eggmech. Unbeknownst to Eggman, Metal Sonic pockets a few items for his own use, one of which being an integral part of the Eggmech's weaponry. He was tired of taking orders.

Ronald McDonald continues to run across Hotland, trying to catch up with Needles Kane, and failing miserably. He stops, out of breath, and eats a Big Mac. All better, and nothing like those "glamour burgers" he saw advertised. Who wants a burger with glitter on it? No one would eat that, and this is coming from the advertiser for McDonalds.

Sensing the presence of other Pokemon, Mewtwo levitates higher into the air and scopes the area using Mind Reader. Nothing close, but there were at least two Pokemon forms further out west. Seeing as they would likely be formidable allies, Mewtwo chases after them.

Vi has made it about halfway through Hotland, also heading west. Her Hextech devices seem to indicate that there are more life forms heading that way, as opposed to the three behind her, which were of no consequence yet.

CORE
Confusing the stumbling of Wolverine for an attack or something of the like, Thor brandishes Mjolnir and rushes in for an attack. Peach watches, disturbedly, from the sidelines, as Wolverine tries to block the oncoming force with the spikes protruding from his hands. A battle begins to ensue, with Wolverine getting damaged and rehealing, and Thor getting slashed repeatedly.
The fight goes on for a bit.
Peach sighs and walks past them, heading towards Hotland without them noticing. Men.

Snowdin: The Mysterious Room
Kefka laughs evilly as he ascends into his true form, absorbing some of the eldritch power that had erupted around the room. Although the earthquakes had ceased, the Room had been cut off from the rest of reality, and it continues to shake. By this time, the black fire had melted some of Deadpool's ice, and he broke through the rest with brute force.
Kefka turned towards the sound, but nothing changed. He had a significant power upgrade now, and he cast a Meteor spell towards Deadpool. Now on his feet, Deadpool was able to dodge enough of the meteors to be safe, and he whipped out his katanas, dual wielding them like a badass. Rushing towards Kefka, he went for the attack but got telekenetically slammed against the left wall.
Something that he expected. Right before he expected the hit to come, Deadpool had dropped a grenade, which blew a hole in the floor, sucking more eldritch power into the room. Kefka was knocked back, but not exceedingly damaged. Having hit his limit of power, he began to cast a Mega Flare spell. Deadpool pulled a pistol out and shot one of Kefka's wings, distracting the diety long enough for him to get back onto his feet--and his head into the cloud of surging power.
Some eldritch power escaped from limbo and flooded into the real world, surging into and corrupting the minds of Thor and Atticus Finch.
As Deadpool was more aware of the world, this eldritch power immediately surged into his body, as opposed to it being Osmosed like with Kefka. With little clue on how to stop it, Deadpool began attempting various things to stop the flow, but nothing worked, and an enormous amount of truly evil power consumed the black and red being. Absorbing every atom and fiber, the eldritch power of Cthulhu himself tore not only his body apart, but his soul itself. Kefka, simultaneously giddy and terrified, muttered under his breath.
"With strange aeons, even death may die."
And with that ominous, foreboding statement, the physical form of Cthulhu himself began to materialize.
