Good evening ladies and gentlemen of the forum, and welcome to King of The Hill.
What is King of The Hill, you ask? Well, it's fairly simple.
I look at all of the battle royales, all of the active ones and the dead ones, and I see potential. Potential to be original. Potential to take it one step further. Potential to revive a dying genre.
You see, what all of these battle royales have in common is this: They all fight at the same god damn time. Fucking mess. I'm going to make things A LOT easier for everyone, both me as a writer and you as a reader. Instead of being lazy, instead of copying the same format every forumer and their mother uses, I'm going to be completely original - and rip off Top-Hattington's 1v1 format instead.
That's right, all battles will be 1v1. That means that I, the writer, am able to write a more detailed battle, and you only have to focus on two characters at a time. Fresh, easy, smashing.
The way I've planned on doing this is very easy. If I start off with 12 fighters, 6 1v1 battles later we'll be down to 6 victors. 3 1v1 battles later, we're down to 3 victors. And what could possibly be a more kick-ass finale than a 1v1v1 between the best of the best of the best? Nothing, that's what. Not even a fucking royale could beat that, I tell ya. Oh yeah, and I'm planning on being quite graphic with this one, so yay blood and gore.
