Dark Pit, while not the person to ever try and make amends, does take notice of Ben being a kid and (reluctantly) mumbles an apology of brash. Being the agitated and hot-tempered one among a group of strangers doesn't sound very good.

Juan decides to go near someone else, trying to acquaint himself with everyone. He sees the tiny green gem tiptoeing towards Sam and walks up to her.

In my island of dreams, you are with me it seems
Watson stood up from the table, pipe still smoking, ready to follow everyone else out of the building when he spied something on the table. While it didn’t exactly blend in with the worn brown wood, it was still quite small, making it easy to miss if one wasn’t looking for it. He picked it up, making sure to not jab his fingers on any protruding parts, but found himself still unable to identify it. But if he didn’t know what it was, then there was one person that was more likely to, the same person who he was planning on talking to anyway. He walked outside, mysterious object in hand, looking around for that one person. When he couldn’t see him, he looked on top of the building and saw him, still trying to contact this mysterious Grim.
“Excuse me, good sir!” Watson called up to get Fisher’s attention. He looked down to see the doctor.
“Yeah?”
“My name is Doctor John Watson. I would like to query whether I would be able to ask you some questions?” Fisher looked away, and scanned the actions of everyone else quickly. No one seemed to be doing anything too suspicious at present.
“John Watson? Seriously?” Fisher mumbled to himself, not completely believing him and making sure to keep an eye on him in the future. “Sure, go ahead.” He said aloud.
”By no chance have you deduced our present location?”
“With the exception of us being in a clearing? No. And until I get hold of Grim, it looks like it may stay that way.”
“Secondly, I would like to ask you to examine this.” Watson held up the object he found in the room. “I could not identify its possible purpose, from your apparent more advanced knowledge of technology, based upon your firearm and the device upon your brow.” Another glance at everybody’s actions, and Fisher knelt down.
“Alright. Throw it up here.” Watson made an underarm throw, sending the device up just high enough for Sam to snatch it out of midair. After glancing at it, “Did you do this to it?”
“That is the form in which I found it.”
“Well, we’re not getting anything out of it. It’s obviously some small device...” Sam turned it over, only for a small scrap of metal to finally give up and fall to the floor he was standing on, leaving a view of only more minute wires. “But at this size, and how crushed it is, there’s no way of telling what it was meant to do.” He moved his goggles into a more comfortable position, and dropped the mysterious device to the floor. “I doubt anybody would be able to.”
“I see. Thank you. One final question, however. Would you in any form, require assistance? Given our similar situations, it doesn’t appear that separating in an unknown land would be wise, and you appear to have someone who could verify our location, should you manage to contact them utilizing whatever message you currently are.” Sam once again readjusted his goggles.
“Yeah, I’ll think about it.” Fisher replied. As he stood up, Juan walked up behind Peridot, who appeared to be doing...something, with her arms.
“Pardon me, miss-” Peridot span around.
“I’M NOT USING MY METAL POWERS TO TRY AND GET THOSE VISION ENHANCERS!” She loudly denied. As soon as she said that, she froze, and turned around to see Fisher looking at her down the barrel of his SC-20K. She yelped, and quickly moved so that Juan was between the two, peeking out to see if he was still aiming.
“Now now, can we not go for five minutes without one of us threatening another with violence?” Juan called out to Fisher, who lowered his sights. The gym leader turned around to face the Gem. “I believe it doesn’t need to be said that you shouldn’t try that again.”
“I, uh...” Peridot stammered.
“Ohohoh, let’s forget this incident for now. How about we introduce ourselves? My name is Juan.”
“Mine’s Peridot. "
”A pleasure to meet you, Peridot.” He outstretched his hand, which Peridot took to shake. “I don’t mean to come across as rude, but your appearance does seem to be rather peculiar, compared with everyone else here.”
“What about that monster you had in that ball? I couldn’t even see a gem on it, not to mention, what did it say, ‘Poliwill’? What’s that even supposed to mean?”
“Ah, Polywhirl? Well, that it it’s species...” As the two discussed exactly what is a Gem and a pokemon and the differences between them, Dark Pit was looking at Ben from a distance. The kid was messing with his wrist mounted device, trying to do something with it and, from the things he was saying to himself, failing. But a while ago he realized something, that the kid was just that. Sure, Dark Pit was actually much younger than him, but he was a special case. He sighed, and walked up to Ben, giving into a feeling that he would have endlessly criticized Pit for having and also giving into the first time they met. Ben looked up from the holographic representation of XLR8.
“Look, I’m...sorry for what I did just then.” No apparent attempt was made to hide the half-halfheartedness behind the apology, but despite that, Ben was fine with it. Being around Kevin for so long had increased his tolerance for these things.
“It’s fine, but you’re going to need to stop flying off the handle every time something happens. None of us knows what’s happened and why we’re here, and most of us are probably as scared as each other, but most of us are able to not react violently.
“Scared? Do I look scared to you?”
“That’s not what I meant. What I’m saying is that we’re not going to get anywhere if we keep arguing, nor are we going to get any answers as to what happened.”
“Alright, I’ve got it.” At that response, Ben headed to get closer to the other four people they awoke with. “And just when I thought that not being around Pit would leave me free from these sorts of monologues...” Pittoo muttered, before following Ben towards the bigger group.
As agreed on mutual terms with ranger, Juan is out of the game.
He's going to stay in for the time being, but will not be controlled by myself.
