Honestly didn't like much of last night's episode...

All the scenes with Steven in Lars' body (in fact, most body swapping stories) just seemed so cringe worthy. Although I do like at the end, Lars does get extremely mad (and for good reason), though I did find the slapping scene funny, and the fact that it ended on a happy note.

Also, it further fuels the Lars/Sadie ship.

I'm not even trying to be funny or anything, Steven has legitimately ticked me off the past few episodes (not counting Too Short to Ride).

I really hope he sees the consequences soon.

Agree. I think it's intentional, and it's leading up to a retaltion.

An upcoming episode is called Steven vs. Amethyst and I think Steven will go too far doing something involving amethyst and she retaliates, and in the end they both learn a lesson.

Honestly, with titles such as Kindegarten Kid and Gem Harvest that close... I think it will be a lot darker than just a petty fight. I expect Amethyst to turn to the dark side, or at least temporarily.

I also expect the town to turn against him at some point. He's hurting just as many people as he's helping. He may end up damaging his relationship with Connie if he goes any further.

honestly, fucking with lars's body, endangering himself and connie, and ruining Ronaldo's relationship are all so out of character that i hope it's building up to something.

I disagree, except for when he messed with Lars' body; that was just messed up. However, both Steven and Connie wanted to defeat Kevin, so I'd say the blame was on both of them equally. Also, Steven didn't realize Ronaldo actually had a girlfriend. Was it right for him to assume? Oh hell no. But I do think Ronaldo and his girlfriend will get back together, and if not, I hate to say it, but I don't think they would've stayed together, considering the only reason he pretended to love Kiki was to stop the war.

Heck, in the last two episodes, he was able to help Kiki stop being pushed around by her sister, and was able to get Centi back to her crew, so, while Steven does seem to be a bit more reckless, he has good intentions.

Ehhh, I think the bigger issue was how Steven blatantly ignored Ronaldo after the breakup. He never acknowledged it and was completely oblivious to his pain and sadness. Usually Steven is sensitive to these things and would do his best to right the wrong, but he didn't even so much as look at Ronaldo afterwards. Ronaldo said he had a girlfriend, Steven had no reason not to believe him. And if he had doubts, he could have just addressed them. Victim-blaming is definitely not the right way to look at this situation. Steven was partially responsible for the breakup and did nothing to help afterwards. He didn't even apologize or offer condolences. He was completely non-empathetic.
