Ehhh, I think the bigger issue was how Steven blatantly ignored Ronaldo after the breakup. He never acknowledged it and was completely oblivious to his pain and sadness. Usually Steven is sensitive to these things and would do his best to right the wrong, but he didn't even so much as look at Ronaldo afterwards. Ronaldo said he had a girlfriend, Steven had no reason not to believe him. And if he had doubts, he could have just addressed them. Victim-blaming is definitely not the right way to look at this situation. Steven was partially responsible for the breakup and did nothing to help afterwards. He didn't even apologize or offer condolences. He was completely non-empathetic.

... Fair point. That is very out of character, and it almost seems like the show isn't going to address the issue at all, which is actually the most surprising. But again, I think Ronaldo and his girlfriend will get back together, especially considering Ronaldo was just trying to help both his family, and Kiki's family.

This isn't to clear Jasper's name, she's clearly awful... but Lapis clearly isn't in right either. She didn't keep Jasper trapped down at the bottom of the ocean for the others, she did it for herself so that she could torture her.

[I honestly have conflicting feelings on the episode. Yes what Lapis did wasn't right, but it was inferred that Jasper tortured Lapis to get information from her. Probably the creepiest thing though, was that Jasper seemed almost, rapey. It felt so weird watching at that moment that I actually felt kinda sick. In fact, practically the whole episode after Jasper appeared made me feel sick. It felt like this just became the darkest CN show ever, and not in a good way.

Honestly, it felt more like Jasper went crazy after Malachite was unfused, and I'm actually scared for when she comes back.]
