And Rose, while probably wanting to preserve the good side of Bismuth, hadn't told the other Gems back then when she poofed and bubbled her. I mean, I get why, but that's kinda messed up. It's one thing to go "your dog ran off to a farm," but it's another to go "Your best friend is on... a nice, long vacation."
