am I the only one who thinks Irwin vs. Crocodile Dundee would be a boring match-up
they're too similar. both australians who explore the wilderness of australia, heck they even look kinda similar

I think he should be put against another real person, not a fictional character. Jane Goodall or David Attenborough are better suggestions I've seen. I think David Suzuki is also a slept-on opponent

I think Peter mentioned not too long ago that he really liked the idea of Steve Irwin vs Davy Crockett, so I think that's a likely match-up.
I made "Eye of the Spider"...that's my contribution to the internet. What's yours?

I'd like a match up similar to that, as I prefer opposites type matches... In that case, Irwin is the great "conservationist" and Crockett was a well known frontiersman/hunter.

Only problem I have with it being like that on this given topic is, of course, I feel it may be politicized - even if only playfully. Meaning one portrayed as the baby-face or righteous do-gooder, with the other as a heel or villain. (Same as they did Romney, Jefferson, Trump, Hitler, etc.)

Jane Goodall would be a good counter to Steve. She being a serious scientist while Steve is the wacky zoo-keeper/handler type.

Based on the last time they asked who could be a good opponent for him, the most likely opponents would be either :
    Spoiler:
Jacques Cousteau, Jane Goodall, Doctor Dolittle, Ace Ventura, David Attenborough, and Noah (Noah's Ark)
