OK, so Juiz' proposal has passed about 12 hours ago. I did update the github repo then, but I waited with posting it on the forums, hoping Jenny would post her proposal in my morning.

Well, I suppose a double-post won't hurt in this case. So, there you go. Now, if your proposal fails 3-2, you won't make a huge effect on the game, but you will gain 10 points.

So, technically, your turn ended about 24 hours ago.

Well, I was busy af yesterday, so I couldn't end it here.

Let's say that for the purposes of this, your turn ended 24 h later and Log's turn begins now.

Let's say that your proposal counts, because it's a very interesting one.

We all get 10 points, for yesterday and today.

My proposal has passed, by the way.

Now, it's a very clever one. We (me, YN and Juiz) don't want you two to get 1000 points and win. You and Log do want that. So you'd expect to get 2 for and 3 against and get 10 points for it.

    Well, there are two problems.
    1. Given that the proposal is clearly not going to pass, Log does not choose between getting 1000 points or not getting 1000 points. He chooses between you getting 10 points or you not getting 10 points. From a purely competitive point of view, it's not advantageous for him to vote for it.
    2. Voting is not mandatory. Rule 2 says you need *more* votes for than against for the proposal to pass. What if two of us three vote against and the remaining one does not? The vote ends in a 2-2 which, due to the very interesting phrasing of Juiz' rule, gives you neither 1000 points nor 10 points. A counter-loophole, so to speak.

I'm gonna vote against and hope Juiz does not vote at all.

Also, I move from (0,0) to (1,0), then (2,0). Because why not.

Yep, that was my intention with the wording of it.

    I'm abstaining from voting.

I won't even bother voting on that one either, I guess I'll move from (0,0) to (0,-1) then (-1,-1).

Edit: My proposal: if two players land on the same space (read: not starting at (0,0)) they have the option to initiate a duel of some sorts that awards 52 points to the winner. The duel must be agreed upon by both parties. And uh, until we come up with a specific ruleset for the duel the terms of their match can be whatever the fuck they agree to. Rock-Paper-Scissors? BGO? Both writing a manifesto on why the evils of Sam must be stopped judged by the other 3 contestants???? Whatever.

OK. That's gonna take some cleaning up, but here's what I'm putting down as the content of the rule:

"If two players move to the same space on the game map, they have the option to initiate a duel that awards 52 points to the winner. The duel must be agreed upon by both parties. The terms of the duel are arbitrary as long as both parties agree to them."

Log, object to that phrasing if you feel it has a different meaning to what you have written.

I'll actually need a little think time about this rule, potential loopholes it may have, and whether it's something that will be fun. Currently, I'm leaning towards an aye, but we'll have to see.

I do not object to that phrasing and I guess I'll take it upon myself to vote yes for my own proposal.

You know what? I do see an interesting thing with this one, but if it surfaces, it's more likely gonna be hilarious than particularly gamebreaking. I think. I'm voting for.

Also, Log's turn ends. YN, your turn.
