Gustave Whitehead vs. Guglielmo Marconi (both were famous for doing something before someone else. Whitehead and flight, Marconi and the radio.)
Coen brothers or the directing Scott brothers (Tony and Ridley) vs. Brothers Grimm

Had a random idea while watching a segment of The Sixth Sense...
    M. Night Shyamalan vs. Alfred Hitchcock
Both are psychological thriller directors known for their "twist" endings. One old, one modern. M. Night Shyamalan is considered a horrible director, excluding the Sixth Sense, while Alfred is recognized as one of the best. The battle would kind of be the battle of opposite similarities, if you catch the drift of what I'm saying.
(Night's later movies all have gained him a nomination for worst:insert his part of the movie here)

I must be annoying Nice Peter the why I keep pushing the same ideas every week on every youtube video.
Ayn Rand Vs L.Ron Hubbard - They both have ideologies or cults that revolve around rich people, their insanely aggressive when it comes to their critics not to mention they've both been mocked in a video game (Bioshock and Dead Space).
Solid Snake Vs James Bond - Basically in my opinion Solid Snake has been around longer and has more of a personality then the other people suggested to go against James Bond. It's not that the others are bad but the whole Gaming Vs Movie spies seems like an awesome angle.
Stan Lee Vs Edgar Allen Poe - Their writers but they have such differant styles of writing. You have Edgar with he's grim macabre style of writing and then there's Stan with he's superhero over the top action writing
H.G Wells Vs Phillip K. Dick - These two guys have a lot in common.
    - They both write Sci-fi books which touch upon similar themes
    - Both of them have had a number of their books turned into movies
    - They both wrote about a sub-genre of sci-fi

Any one of them I think would be awesome to see.

    Herobrine vs Notch.
Who is Herobrine. He is a meme with many varyations of name saying and interactions.
Herobrine has two distinct pronunciations, suspected to be because of pronunciation differences between America and Europe.
It is speculated that most Europeans would pronounce the word as "hero brine", brine being salt-saturated water.
While it is speculated that most Americans would pronounce the name as "Hiro brin". Both e's are pronounced differently, with the first e being pronounced as an i, and the last e being silent.
The "European" version is seen as canon, mainly because the Brocraft team pronounced him as such in their livestream, and because Herobrine himself, canonically, is Swedish.

    The versions of interraction
Herobrine's intentions vary, but they usually fall under two categories. One variation is based on pure community interpritation, while the other, based on the canon.

    Canonical
In the Stalker variation, he stalks the player, disappearing if approached. This variation is derived from his origins.

    Community
In the Vengeful variation, he tries to ensnare the player in traps, presumably to steal their items. He waits for people to enter his dungeons, then either seals them inside, or teleports behind them, presumably killing them. Some rarer variations of this particular version says he breaks the player's creations, and steals their items from chests. This variation is likely inspired by griefers and trolls.

Notch is the creator of the game Minecraft in which the Herobrine meme started with.

Hey I'm not saying that it has to be my idea (Ayn Rand Vs L.Ron Hubbard) but I don't think there's ever been an epic rap battle on philosophy or ideology so maybe it'd be cool to see an epic rap battle on that. It's a big part of history so it makes sense to have a rap battle around that theme.

I'd have thought William Wallace would be a better person to go up against Joan of Arc, they both fought for freedom against the British and were executed for it. Also the last one sounds cool but I think maybe Walt Disney could be against Vincent Van Gogh with the theme being artists were more appreciated for their work after they were dead. Vincent's work is worth a fortune now and Disney is now bigger then it was back when Walt was alive.

No offense I don't mean to imply that your suggestions are wrong or anything I just think those two sound like these other two guys are maybe better suited.
