For Australian representation, what about Ned Kelly vs. Robin Hood as a battle of the outlaw folk heroes?
Battles I want to see:
- Princess Diana vs. Marie Antoinette
- Mary I vs. Vlad the Impaler/Bloody Mary vs. Dracula
- John Hughes vs. John Green
- Barbie vs. Ronald McDonald
- Audrey Hepburn vs. Angelina Jolie
- Homer vs. Matt Groening
- Spider-Man vs. Harry Potter
- Marlon Brando vs. James Dean
- Mr. Fantastic & Invisible Woman vs. Marie & Pierre Curie
- Jane Austen vs. Charles Dickens
- Henry VIII vs. Taylor Swift
- Tony Stark/Iron Man vs. Margaret Thatcher
- Coco Chanel vs. Josephine Baker
ULTIMATE DREAM BATTLE:
27 Club Battle Royale - Kurt Cobain vs. Jimi Hendrix vs. Janis Joplin vs. Amy Winehouse vs. Jim Morrison
Pedro Álvares Cabral vs James Cook
Cabral discovered Brazil and Cook discovered Australia (I think that's right)
I don't know many Australians, but Hugh Jackman and Mel Gibson are some that immediately come to mind (excluding Steve Irwin, of course.)
Rupert Murdoch (The owner of the Fox News Corporation) is also Australian, and I think that him versus Joseph Pulitzer or William Hearst would be interesting.
I may not know what the fox says, but I do know the rabbit says "DO A BARREL ROLL"
These are my 12 most wanted.
12) Usain Bolt vs Barry Allen
fastest men alive
This idea is super obvious. I've heard that Tyson Gay is actually the fastest right now, but it doesn't matter because no one knows who he is. Besides, Barry has that thing with Wally, so it's another thing they have in common. Usain Bolt is overdue for a rap battle, and this is his best matchup. It would be great if they both were running during the entire battle, and we'd pretend that they move at the same speed.
11) Saitama vs Popeye
powerful, cartoonish punchers
One Punch Man is my second favorite anime, and it became popular in only a short amount of time. These two are both bald, and became strong via ordinary methods that would work in real life. Saitama could have a line where the only thing he says is, "Okay." He would go into his serious state for the second verse.
10) ZeRo vs Sakurai
MCs of Super Smash Bros.
It's a battle of champion vs creator. This one will never happen, with both people only being popular within the Smash community, but it would be super fun for big Smash fans to see. Let's be honest here, the only Nintendo employee they'll ever use is Shigeru Miyamoto.
9) H.P. Lovecraft vs Rod Serling
horror
My family is big on Twilight Zone. Since they used Alfred Hitchcock, Rod Serling isn't out of the picture. I can already see Rod telling H.P. that he is in the Twilight Zone as one of his lines. Lovecraftian monsters, specifically the Cthulhu, would need to cameo here. A mention isn't enough.
8) Greg Heffley vs Anne Frank
diary writers
I do enjoy the DoaWK series. Anne Frank will probably never be used; Peter and Lloyd stated that she is hard to mess with. However, if she ever is used, Greg Heffley is her best option. IIRC, Jeff Kinney is the tenth bestselling children's author, so Greg is certainly worthy.
7) Peyton Manning vs Lionel Messi
football players
The requests are wanting Lionel to rap against Ronaldo, but versus Peyton Manning would be more interesting. I'm not just saying this because I am from Indiana. Lionel could talk about how Peyton is becoming worse at football, just like Muhammad Ali talked about Michael Jordan's basketball career failing in the later years.
6) Cory Baxter vs Cory Matthews
Disney sitcom Corys
Cory has become more popular than Raven, let's face the facts. Both Corys starred in two sitcoms. Baxter went from the supporting cast to the protagonist. Matthews went from the protagonist to the supporting cast. In the battle, both Corys would start in their youngest states, and switch to their second sitcom versions for their second verses.
5) Epic Rap Battles of History vs Death Battle
YouTube battle series
These are two of YouTube's most popular battle series out there. It would be a great chance for Peter and Lloyd to work with ScrewAttack. The battle would be pretty chaotic, both sides bringing in characters who have been on their show. Two battles were done by both series, as well. For third-parties, Peter and Lloyd could do the cheesy Death Battle rip-offs, such as Cartoon Fight Club.
4) Ariana Grande vs Taylor Swift
singers
Okay, these ladies have more in common than just being singers. Taylor sings songs about her breaking up with boys, although she currently has a boyfriend. Ariana sings songs about her getting together with boys, although she currently does not have a boyfriend. Both singers deserve to be in a battle. Taylor is massively popular, and is long overdue. Ariana has been rising up, plus she is very pretty.
3) Tia and Tamera vs Jill and Jessa
sisters with reality shows
I did enjoy The Duggars to some extent, and I was excited when they got a second show. Unfortunately, I worry about three things here:
*Jill and Jessa being too obscure
*Jill and Jessa being difficult to mess with
*Mary-Kate and Ashley
2) Ash Ketchum vs Yugi Muto
gaming anime protagonists
Everyone is wanting Ash to fight Charles and Yugi to fight Tut. I'm a bit surprised at how nobody is pitting them against each other. I'd really like to see this. Ash and Yugi do have a little bit of a rivalry, just not much. Ash would be really fun to diss.
1) Naruto Uzumaki vs Monkey D. Luffy feat. Ichigo Kurosaki
HST protagonists
I am a fan of both One Piece and Naruto, so I'd love to see this. These guys have a long lasting rivalry and lots of similarities. They have lots of material to craft lyrics from, too. Including Ichigo would make this a great battle between the HST. ERB said that they are investigating anime, plus they tend to do existing rivalries, so I really have faith in this one.
I'd say yes, and that it'll probably be either a bonus battle or the first of the next six.
Anyways, here is my new cast list for what I hope would be Justice League vs The Avengers.
The Avengers:
Peter as Captain America
Lloyd as Iron Man
Karmin as Black Widow
Rhett as Thor
Link as Hawkeye
Lloyd as The Hulk
Justice League:
Alex Farnham as Batman
Peter as Superman
Lloyd as Aquaman
Watsky as The Flash
Whitney Avalon as Wonder Woman
DeStorm as Cyborg
I like Peter better as Henry Cavill Superman. He looks more like him.
I don't see why they wouldn't do this. I know it is comic vs comic, but these are the two most iconic teams of all time. Everybody knows these guys. This would be like the Jobs vs Gates of superheroes, except its a team battle with no third party. I always thought it would cool if for the first verse they were all either out of costume in civilian clothes or even in old (60's or 70's) style costumes, and then later they turn into their movie versions.
