1. Good connection, but possibly a bit obscure and uninteresting.
2. It sounds cliche to say, but I think these people are well past their prime in terms of relevance.
3. I'd be pretty happy with this I guess. But don't you think Whitney Houston vs Beyonce would be a lot more exciting?
4. I think there's an audience to be tapped in to when it comes to basketball. I think there's interest in it. I'm not so sure if b-ball vs b-ball is the best route. And I'm not sure if those two are the top 2 unused ballers. Are Steph Curry and Kobe on their level of relevance? I don't truly follow it, so I wouldn't know.
5. Pretty good suggestion. Might be just a tad bit historical or obscure.
6. I don't see the connection at all. And animated vs live action seems awkward.
7. I don't see the connection here. Tony Stark vs Henry Ford seems like the best Stark and Ford suggestions to me. Tiger Woods vs Tony Hawk seems perfect.
8. This could actually work. I could see it going more like Miley vs Joan than like Caitlyn vs Hulk.
9. This could work.
10. I don't see a connection.
11. I don't think shows should battle, especially not these shows.
12. I don't see a connection at all. Is it just their vaguely similar names?
I don't really entirely agree with that. First off, animated characters that can be easily portrayed have already been used (Goku, Mario, Luigi). Secondly, they've already had an animated ERB using legos. They could easily team up with any of the many many talented YouTube animators and make another battle using characters that actually are animated. In my opinion, it's only a matter of time before they do.
GTA is clearly a super popular video game, and Scarface is a great and usable character. I think using just one character from GTA is a little bit too obscure. Even compared to something like Bill and Ted. I'd suggest if they ever used GTA, have it be like Ghostbusters vs Mythbusters. I know the newest GTA has like a team of primary characters, so having them go up against another team of criminals or misfits seems better. Maybe something like... the Suicide Squad, The Expendables, The Fast & Furious family (sorry if I bring those movies up to much).
Can you explain to me what this is, and more importantly what significance it has. Tell me its feats of popularity, so to speak. I know it's a modern cartoon, but would you really recommend they use this over say, Spongebob, Family Guy, The Simpsons, South Park, Futurama, Mickey Mouse, Looney Toons, Sonic the Hedgehog, Scooby Doo or even a modern cartoon like Adventure Time, Regular Show, or Stephan Universe. As somebody who stopped watching children's cartoons in like 2008, I've heard a lot more about those three modern kids cartoons than I have about Gravity Falls.
They'd all have to be played by the same actor.
Also, Hancock >>> I Am Legend. I believe. In terms of relevance.
Deadshot could end up being a big one too.
But yeah, in general, kind of a bad idea.
Almost too cut and paste of a connection. Dunham vs Henson would have been a lot better.
I mean, I guess it could work, in the same way that Ramsay vs Child worked.
Yeah, it's not that good. This one strikes me as a "why would they use x when they haven't even touched x"? Which would be "Why would they use Twoface when they haven't used The Joker?"
Also, unlike Indiana Jones, Jekyll just doesn't seem like a necessary character. He doesn't strike me as a MUST HAVE for ERB. He doesn't strike me as being a draw of his own, only for providing a foil for Hulk. Twoface doesn't seem like much of a draw either.
Yeah, when you KNOW it's gonna be controversial, you probably shouldn't do it. It could actually be better received than Jenner, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a train wreck.
Emerson falls under "I recognize the name but don't really know who he is" category for me. I google him now. I know he's a legendary author. He could easily be used if there was a more well known author he was put up against.
